The guy is one of if not best coaches in the league but I would be willing to bet we’ll wind up with exactly what we all want as far as the lineup is concerned when it’s all said and done. I still can't believe we got Zajac too. He is a REALLY good 2 way Center. He has 14 points in his last 15 games too... and on a sub Par team his +/- is even this year. I really think we are going to love this guy.

Just throw Palmieri up there and call it a day. Pageau was awesome as our third line center. Sometimes the easiest answer is the right answer.

In all honesty I’ve always looked at Zajac as a completely overrated player by Devils fans. Now with that said I love him as a winger on our third line. I think he’ll be perfect there. I’m not a fan of him centering our third line. We’ll see how it plays out maybe I’m wrong. I will say over the years on here whatever lines were clamoring for no matter who the coach is always turn out to be the best and the coaches always get to putting players where we want for the most part. Maybe we’re not all a bunch of idiots. Don’t answer that it wasn’t a question

If nothing else it's another guy who can take Face offs that is good at them.. over 53% this year. that one game we lost vs. Pens 2-1. I swear Brock lost the last 5 face offs.

That money could garner a really nice player, let alone packaging with a player(s) or pick(s). We have the new arena coming next fall, owners want to keep the momentum going and Lou wants to make a statement. Just my thoughts.

I agree but for who? Adding another forward you’re benching one of Wahlstrom or Bailey. I get it Wahlstrom is a kid but he has been awesome on both sides of the puck. Benching him would be (frank)ing stupid. Sorry, it’s not even debatable. Bailey as we know blows but trotz loves him and he’s not benching him so I’m thinking defenseman.
