We really have no clue if they’ll draft well or not
No much to base an opinion off of really

He has literally no leverage at all ......

He has what .... 4 to 5 years left?

Name me one nhl player that has successfully held out with no contract issues and that much term left

- Sabretooth9

Kovalchuk by bailing
Heatley had 5 years left when he played his game and got moved to the sharks

contracts can't be reworked so it's stay home or go overseas

your move

It didn't say we would have to take one of those players back, but one of those players would need to be moved to get extensions done for Hall and RNH.
- Buff36

f them

they can make a move with another team to worry about their extensions

For precautionary reasons, William Nylander will not play tonight vs Montreal as he has had exposure to a possible positive case with a close contact outside the team.

Nylander is isolating and the situation will be re-evaluated tomorrow pending the results of further testing.

At this point in time, length of Nylander absence is uncertain. Going to depend on "a combination of things" -- including testing results

I don't buy it.

He's hurt. And if it's a neck injury, well if I'm a rival GM, I'm very hesitant to give up what Buffalo would want for a player with seemingly no prognosis right now.

Yeah, Buffalo is a queer town, he should have known they would kiss and tell haha but yeah more power to him.

I actually think he was still playing in the KHL up until a year ago or so?

He's still playing, or was at some point this year. In the German league.

I honestly think a 30-year old Kassian at 3x3 is something we desperately need, unfortunately. If we could get a 1st and Kassian for Hall I say we take that deal all god damn day long and don't even think twice.

We get 2 good pieces in return for someone who has done NOTHING for us and has an expiring contract.

I take that deal if no other offers contain a 1st round pick or equivalent, but I don't see a nice prospect coming back.

Hell, I would offer Hall and Olofsson to Philadelphia for Nolan Patrick straight up and see if they bite.

- 3rd GM's the charm

Hall 2/17/19 in 37 gms
Kassian 2/3/5 in 20 gms.

The both have had a relatively useless season, but to call Kassian good, and claim Hall has done nothing isn't right.
Kassian does bring physicality to the team which I agree is good, but that production is 13F like.
Tell them to send their mid-term poop elsewhere.

Do they need to give all that up for Nolan?...I would be on board taking a risk with him, but for less

If he doesn't get picked up then I believe there's agreement around the league not to Pick up other teams good players

We should be picking him up 100% btw

I vote for blog 8. Really enjoy the stories about the 70s/80s sabres because I am not old enough to remember those teams.
