Laughton is worth a 2nd round pick imo and would be worth trading for.

I'm surprised he moved enough needles for Ryan.

A "three way with Philly" doesn't that sound like something that'd be in the Urban Dictionary?!?!?

He's one of the rarer types who have both great underlying numbers for stat guys and the physical game for the old school types. I'm just not ok with trading a 1st for a 35 point 3rd liner.

Hextall's comments in the Rorabaugh article basically say he isn't spending future assets and prospects unless the return really has an impact on the team. He also praised McCann and Gaudreau's play, basically saying they are impacting his trade deadline plans.

Malkin skated this morning and Marino's absence was a "maintenance" day...

Keep fingers crossed

He has, also, been praising Jankowski the last 2 weeks...

Lmao. I think Mackenzie said we're in on Ryan on NBC last night.

Makes sense. I would imagine a 3rd or 4th get that done at this point.

I thought that was more speculation as to the type of player we could get. Mack also said Ryan is also currently hurt...

Panik is an above-average bottom-6er, who has excelled defensively this season. His contract sucks though.

I think that's a bit of an exaggeration. He said something to the effect he's like what he's seen recently. I guess you can call that "praise," but that just makes it sound more than it really is. I think he was just recognizing some improved play from Jankowski.

I honestly think it really is this time. Unless he's got some concussion symptoms, his face hit the ice, so I'm guessing he's just some crazy pain going on and just needs to rest.

Sullivan just sees himself In Jankowski. Doesn’t hit, fight, block shots, skate particularly well, doesn’t kill penalties all that well, doesn’t score. It’s mike Sullivan’s career reincarnated.

Trib live April 1st Tm Benz: "Hextall specifically praised Mark Jankowski, Zach Aston-Reese, Colton Sceviour, Evan Rodrigues and Freddy Gaudreau for elevating their games while the likes of Evgeni Malkin, Jason Zucker, Teddy Blueger and Kasperi Kapanen have all missed significant chunks of time with various ailments."

He’s Craig Adams. Coaches like players like these for some reason.

I mean, it's a GM praising his team. It is what it is. But he didn't say that Jankowki's play has altered his deadline plans. He specifically said that about Gaudreau and McCann
