Jimmy, I hate that you make me look at twitter so I can read the first comment on that post from the smooth brain retard.

Something in my gut tells me we are going to trade for Eichel. Idk just something tells me he’s going to be a Ranger and they are going to get him at the price the Rangers are willing to pay.

Would Buffalo tell us to go F off somewhere if we proposed Buch, Kratsov, Chytil, 2021 1st rounder?

I’m bored on this Thursday morning.

- Awolff9

I would tell us to (frank) off. I mean me, personally, being a Rangers fan!!
3 first round picks, two of which we've already put development time into, plus a 3rd round steal for a bout of cancer, with a bad neck? F that hard.
I want no part of dismantling this incredible rebuild to bring in a piece that makes us just a little bit better on the ice (after the subtractions) and possibly worse off the ice.
(frank) Eichel. Period. Let him (frank) up some other organization.

I think it would cost us less to trade for Kupari.

I follow everybodys twitter dammit

but mostly they think Adam Fox isnt that good

- jimbro83

Yea, I have tried to argue with them on it. It is okay to give credit a player on a team you hate.

I dont think NYR will be too active in the trade market but what about a guy like Luke Glendenning? The guy has a 63.3% winning percentage. I know he's on the wrong side of 30 but having a guy who can help Chytil, Strome, Zibanjead and the younger players like Morgan Barron, Howden, Rooney, Blackwell, learn this craft couldn't be that bad now would it? A nice 3 year deal @ $2M/ year for 3rd or 4th line duties? What say you all?

Hard to argue that. I think it’s me not wanting to sign Buch long term. I like the guy and he’s very likable in that lockerroom but I don’t want to give him 6 or 7 mill per for 5 or 6 years. That’s what I think he might get.

I don't see them trading for any pending UFA's at this deadline

after the expansion draft, in the summer sure, i could see them interested

I don't want to pay Buch that, either!
I can't see him getting that during the flat cap period. He's making what? $3.25? No way he's doubling his salary this time around, IMO.
I really like what he's become and I don't feel we can be devoid of veterans. But, he has to fit in at the right price for the team. We simply have too many options to treat anyone to a free lunch.

I honestly don't think both players will have a huge impact. It's kind of just a meh trade for both sides
- TPC

I'm surprised you think that. Palmieri and Kreider pretty much have similar career numbers up to this point. You think adding a player like that is just ho hum? For the record I'm not saying Kreider and Palms are equal just saying they're pretty close

Sounds like Lindgren and Strome are a little banged up and were getting treatments this morning. Hopefully, they are just waiting for official word following the update that they were "likely available" for tonight??

I think most Isles fans will tell you Fox is a stud. To lump the whole fan base in with a few mutants on the biggest cesspool social media site around is a stretch

You are a sweet man.

We don't want Fox in the middle of any scrums. Especially ones with a cheap shot artist that has no issues with intending to hurt, i.e. slew footings, cross checking someones face while they are on the ice...and many more. So I am ok with his "turtling". Also. You are just jealous of our ugly talented dmen

I want to take a moment to mention that I too enjoy calling people mutants and it is an underrated insult. Long Island is full of them so maybe that's why it I use it so much.

DQ said lineup isn’t set. “There are questions” about the status of some guys, apparently.

- jimbro83

Strome and Lindberg weren’t on the ice this am, off-ice maintenance and treatment, so maybe them

Palms was actually really good with the devils minus this year. You wonder if its just catching up with him or does he need a change of scenery. For my sake I hope this is his new normal

Haven't watched many Devs games so I'm just going off what I've been reading since the trade and it seems like he is still getting the same amount of chances just not scoring so I'm not too concerned, yet
