So that’s what you kids are calling it these days. Who would of thought?

Don't judge people when you have no idea of their age.

And yes, however I still aspire to be an English Major.

What a short memory you have. Toronto is built fantastically for the regular season, but they haven't won a playoff series since 2004. What makes them so much better this year? This team can collapse with the best of them.

The regular excuses will still fit this year. Ran into a hot goalie. Ref's stopped giving powerplays. Own goalie wasn't good enough. Not enough grit (though this may actually be the one thing they have added). Like I said we will see.

Like I said, playing poopty teams in the North division this year. It’s almost impossible to be bad enough not to make the playoffs in this division.

Lol, I find it funny that everyone keeps bringing up the "poopty" teams in the North, like other divisions don't house Buffalo, Detroit, CBus, NJ, all of California.

Arizona and Nashville are holding down playoff spots in their divisions, and I don't think they would be in the North. The only true advantage that the North really has is that there are only 7 teams, IMO.

I like how you chose to:

1) Ignore the question I asked. How are they soooo much better than the teams from previous years?

2) Change your tune to suggest our discussion was about Toronto making the playoffs.

No one is arguing they won't make the playoffs. I would even go on to say they are likely the best regular season team in the division. I am just pointing out, that when they get to the playoffs, they are very likely to fail, like every other year. The playoffs are just a different brand of hockey.

I hope you are around to discuss this thread after their first round (most likely) elimination.
