If buffalo is only asking for a first I would do the trade right now for hall.

Hall to me is a last resort. I’m sure lameriello would pony up a first if he were the last player on the board but there will be a couple of players he’s going to go for before him imo. Can’t see Lou or any other team offering more then that but who knows. Teams start getting desperate...

Add Ladd and subtract Wilde and you have yourself a deal.

I’m with you. I’m guessing 1/2 of them are probably Sabre fans

Lol you all want your cake and eat it too! The cost to acquire a top line forward is at least a first minimum! Regardless of cost of contract and state of the market with covid, as everyone has seen, prices don’t go down! Especially at trade deadline, they go up! Sure palmari (yeah it’s spelled wrong lol) is cheaper but u get what I pay for. Someone whom only produces on the power play! Hall’s production is down as is EVERYONE ON THE SABRES! Go toot your horn about Wilde, Komorav, and a 2nd, OR Wilde Ladd and a 2nd towards palmari if that’s what you wanna pay then. Fools. Arm chair gms at their finest here!

Except many of us don’t actually want Hall. You’re assuming we do.

What’s more, many of us (though not all) would rather have Palmieri. And while I won’t speak for the others on this specifically, I personally would offer Jersey more for Palmieri than I would offer Buffalo for Hall. As far as I’m concerned, you can keep that underachieving cancer till Ragnarök.

As to your blanket excuse that everyone on the Sabres roster is sucking hind tit, please explain the seasons currently being had by Olofsson and Reinhart. It seems two of your wingers can still produce offence. Why not Hall?

Sorry folks, it's the price for Hall, you don't want him tell your teams GM. He has currently 2 goals 15 assists on a bad team with different team mates on a nightly basis. He'll be reinvigorated on a team that has a chance to play deep into the play-offs and that has to sound pretty damn good.

No no no he is like Duchane, toxic in a room. Not worth the first draft pick and one of Aho, Bellows or Mayfield plus the more the Sabres GM wants. Wahlstrom is the real deal, Beau is coming on do not need that guy.

There is a reason why he (Hall) is on his third potentially fourth team in 3 years. This too me is a major red flag no matter what he does on the ice. Palmieri is a much better fit for this team and Lou will not have to empty the draft or prospect pool to do it.

Barzal needs a consistent winger not a big name inconsistent winger. Plus they could offer Palmieri a deal next year if it works out. Lou would have to move major assets to make a Hall signing work.

We need two forwards unless they move Wahlstrom up - which I am against as I think he’s a great fit with Beau and JGP. Komarov and MDC are not top 6 forwards (or top 12 for that matter). Hopefully moves are made soon while we’re still at the top of our division.

A trade has to happen this week or they are finished. Going to end up in fourth or if the flyers get hot miss the playoffs. Only line doing anything is the Pageau line. Komarov on the top line is a joke. Fed up and disgusted with this incompetent loser. If the islanders dont win the cup this year it's an absolute disgrace and everyone needs to be kicked to the curb
