I'm honestly not about giving up any assets for Hall right now. I get RW's argument and I'm aware of how good he is, but he's just been playing like garbage. So many mistakes on a regular basis. |

Too bad Bufalllllllllllllo is that bad. The only good thing about them being that bad is that it takes the heat off the Red Wings. |

Jordan isn't going anywhere. He's having a hell of a season.

I am all for Hall. While he wouldn't get much PP time, he could be the Kessel like impact for the 3rd line that could take advantage of opponents weaker lines.
I dont think he comes anywhere near as cheap as is being suggested though. Also not sure Buffalo would be interested in paying petterson. If you could do Petterson and our 2nd, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
Staal would be cool too but I think he is pretty overrated around here. He might be the 4C rather than the 3c when Blueger is healthy. |

Hall gets hurt all the time because he’s lazy though. |

Here's who I think they should get:
Evgeni Malkin, Bradon Tanev, Teddy Blueger, Jason Zucker and Kasperi Kapanen.
If the Pens could somehow add those guys to the line-up, I think they'll have a much better team and the best part is, won't cost them anything! |

Twitter sources are assuming that it is a given that his contract will be half retained by Buffalo. And Buffalo is aimming at getting as much as the Kings got for Toffoli last year... Despite the fact that Hall only has 2 more NHL goals than Feds this year.
We can't afford it. |

If Hall’s market is totally tanked because because of his counting stats of Buffalo, then to me that is obviously a no brainer decision. LW for Malkin. Check. |

People made these same comments about Ryan O’Rielly. His scoring never got this bad, but his teams and shooting percentage weren’t this bad either. Hall’s what? 28? He’ll bounce back. |

This is the same team that thinks Rasmus Ristolanen is good. It could happen. |

Even if I wanted Hall on the team (which I don't) he has an $8M cap hit. I can't imagine Hextall being able to work out a favorable trade where the Sabres would eat much of this. The main things the Sabres want right now are draft picks and Hextall likely want to use the few that he has.
And let's hope that the Sabres break their losing streak next Monday against the Flyers. |

I don’t see him going to the pens, but I’d think the sabres are gonna eat half regardless, so they get as much as they can for him. I thought that I saw he has a full no movement clause. If that’s the case, he can basically pick where he wants to go. I could be wrong on that tho. |

He does have a full no movement clause, but has gone on record as recent as last night, saying that he'd consider waving it. |
