Michael Stuart: Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down: Lightning Strike Lifeless Stars

The Stars are in a bad situation. Lots of injuries to deal with on a rotating basis. Bishop has been hurt more than he's healthy, so their once-solid goaltending depth is essentially gone. The Lightning have Khudobin's number. Half of their top-six is gone. The list of casualties is long and it's a situation the Lightning have found themselves in during previous seasons. It's hard to win games like that.

Vasy must have been upset with Sergy with the puck to the face. That one hurt but he was right back in the game. I just want to get thru the regular season with our blue line healthy and Vasy not run down.

Volkov is gone to Anaheim.
