Principle point of contact was the shoulder/chest. That part was clean.

Follow through was arms to the head. I don't believe the head was targeted - it just happened to be at shoulder level since Carlo was leaning. But it's still worthy of discipline.

Given the bias towards certain individuals the hit is:
1) A fine if you're Crosby, Ovechkin, etc.
2) 2 games if you're a not a superstar
3) 5+ games if you're a repeat offender

7 for Wilson was on par with this. At least the NHL is consistent in its inconsistency.

Vulnerable player in a vulnerable position most pros throttle back knowing they can hurt and or ruin another pros career. Not Wilson, Stupid hit, same guy, same story, suspension for me wasn’t long enough.

How is 5+ games for a repeat offender "bias"? Seems reasonable to me.

Because Wilson’s last suspension was over 18 months ago it isn’t as a repeat offender hit which to me is ridiculous.
