Tonight will be a solid Hockey night in Canada.

-Calgary has new coach

Should be an exciting night with a lot on the line for both teams. The oilers will be out there for Walt and with something to prove after the last three games and while sutter may not be behind the bench yet the flames should be considering this weekend a tryout for him. The battle of Alberta has been fairly underwhelming this year but if it’s going to get amped up tonight has all the right ingredients for it to.

Also I recall a story where Gretzky said he thought his father was more famous then him because when talking to anyone their first question for him was “how’s Walt?” 1 thing I thought that separated Walt from most hockey dad’s was that he never road his sons coattails, he was just an ordinary guy that loved the game and for that I truly respected him.
