I like this. Drouin Suzuki and Armia did well in the bubble.
it should also help kk.

I just hope ice-time is adjusted in consequence, we need our producing players on the ice...

I'd like to see Perry instead of Armia up there but I'm usually wrong anyway

You mean Danault, Drouin, Byron & Lehkonen won't fix the lack of goal scoring issues? Who would have thought?

Drouin might not score but he creates stuff at least...

Too bad we didn’t pick him up 5 years ago, he still look very good on PP and playoffs when we get there

Armia is useless though... you have a point about overworking Perry, maybe he can take some shifts there, mostly if they're down a goal or 2... no denying his knack for big goals at key times still

5 years ago he was still putting up 30 goals for the Quackers, wasn't really available then

I think Armia is there coz he can skate, has size and can chip in where needed

I think they need him to chip in more than once every 10 games

He was doing well last year and definitely chipped in much more than once per 10 before he got injured so maybe that line will get a spark again

Because of where he's lining up, he'll finish with more ice time than Toffoli and Anderson, as will Danault... I guess we'll meet back here tomorrow morning to try and figure out why the Habs can't score... I just can't put my finger on it!

The difference in ice time for the 1st 3 lines should not be that different I think, now the key is for them to stay out of the freaking box and limit turnovers ! Those are momentum killers

That's the problem, it should be different.... ride the elements that are working for you! The fact that Armia and Toffoli get similar ice time is part of the problem

Then this is an issue with the core we have, we still have some holes, hoping for a W that’s all we care about

I'd be tempted to flip Armia and Gallagher... I know Armia is there for size, but I think they might be OK regardless.

Danault needs less ice-time, or perhaps, more focused ice-time where he can contribute defensively. He has done nothing offensively to warrant his ice-time, tbh.

Also, while I have found Perry to be useful, I think the 4th line has gone downhill ever since they broke it up and kept replacing players. The speed and strong forecheck of Lek, Evans, and Byron was really solid not to mention creating lots of turnovers, and playing lots of time in the offensive zone. Putting Perry on that line negates a lot fo that.

I agree... my point is, start riding the half that's creating offense for you

In his post practice comments, Ducharme states that he's not 100% sure that Anderson will be back tonight and that we may see some movement across the lines on the right wing. He likes to keep us, and opponents guessing it seems.

I hear your logic however taking Gallagher out of that line may make that line even less effective.
