Roger Mussa: Devils vs Rangers....lets blow it up!

The Devils In my mind are Improving, I have noticed by looking at stats that there are a lot of Devils players at similar talent levels, I could probably easily Indentify New Jerseys top 3 forwards but after that you could put five different forwards as your number 4 best forward Its quite a lot of guys with equal skills so based on that I think line juggling Is much to do about nothing except for Ruff looking for one or two guys to emerge. What I dont understand Is with the abundance of youngsters how Zajac Is getting all the Ice time he Is, To me let's give more time to a younger player to see what we have.

Man Nico is just having some brutal luck the past 3 months. I don't think we'll be seeing him for a while, which really sucks because he was just starting to get back into form and play well

Yes and no. The important young talent is improving greatly. That is really all I wanted to see this season. Even Zacha has found a new level of late.

Love the lineup changes. Something had to give, and unlike past coaches, Ruff is addressing a losing recipe the only way he can. Can't blame him if it fails, at least he tried something.

Gusev out tonight. Can't say I disagree with the poor level of play he's been demonstrating.

Lets put Johnsson with Zajac. One of the most agile and quickest skaters on the team, centered by a guy that is arguably the slowest skater in the entire league. We'll probably lose regardless of who those two guys skate with but that just seems dumb.

Once again the rangers make an average goaltender look like a hall of famer

Yeah he was originally in Bing on an AHL deal. There's just different rules for CHL players this season since their junior leagues haven't been playing. Normally he wouldn't have been allowed to play in the AHL due to his age but the CHL/NHL waived that rule and allowed under 20 players to be eligible this season so that teams didn't have prospects just sitting around doing nothing. And tonight he upped his AHL contract to his ELC.(i doubt it happens this season but who knows what happens at the deadline and how many spots open up, so now he's eligible to be called up if they feel he earns a chance)

This team just can't score at all, it's actually brutal. They really need guys like Holtz, Foote, and Mercer to get here asap. If not next year, hopefully all 3 have found their way into the lineup in 2 years

That was a sh!t show. PK should not be allowed to shoot again, its always a turnover and sometime an odd man rush. Cannot wait for him to be gone. And he was not even close to being the worst player out there. So sloppy in their own zone. They need to tear it down and won't get much for these bums. Sorry for the vent, I hate losing to the Rags.

Yes, and they need to invest that PK$ into a top line player. The future is bright for this team if the right moves are made. Not saying I know what they are.

Hughes would be piling up assists if we had someone on this damn team that could finish.

Any coach who believes it's in the best interest of the team to place Bratt on the 4th line should be immediately F-I-R-E-D!

He is a turnover machine. At least he has reduced his pims over the past 6 games. But yes, for someone who generates such little offense, he turns the puck over far too often. If you are going to be a liability, you'd better be notching north of 40 points a season.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is Zajac, Gusev, and Palms final season as a Dev. If there is a decent return on them, and it frees up some roster spots for some of those A level prospects, then now is the time to do it.

idk if anyone is noticing but Palms is going thru the motions out there and couldn't care less about this season. His dumb penalty ruined the momentum and then instead of attacking the puck in his dzone he waited for it to come to him (and even backed away). Was immediately met by a ranger and they kept the puck in zone leading to the second goal. He deserves to be benched or be playing 4th line minutes. Take the A away from him cause he isn't doing any good. And if you want to say he is upset he didnt get captain....captain material wouldn't act like that.

Him and Zajac have been warriors but they have gotten use to losing. Calgary is looking for a right shot RW that is capable of top line minutes. Palms is nothing more than a fringe second line wing on a good team (prove me wrong).

The purge will be a beautiful thing on this team. Only numbers who should feel safe are 13, 86, 24, 28 and 29.
