A look at the Blackhawks climb back up the mountain when considering the traditional perspective of championship cycles with peaks and valleys.
Plus, a look at how Carlsson's return to the ice impacts the D pairs. |

Thank you, Theo.
I'm glad the 'Hawks are interested in buying the Icehogs. Like McDonals owns the potato farms and cattle ranches that provide for their restaurants.
I'm really enjoying the 'Hawks developing and graduating drafted talent also.
Getting greasy goals for and preventing greasy goals against will always be the demarcation line when it comes down to Stanley Cups. |

As I posted in last forum (damn Theo is up early)
Smart business people take advantage of situations. I'm sure Rocky got a great deal due to Covid.
Haven't thought about all the business possibilities of owning both, but I'm sure they are many. Thought maybe this was a plan that McD had been cooking up for a while, and never lasted to see it through.

Not only that they own almost as much real estate as the federal government

Regarding the Toews post by Wiz last night.....
1. It may appear that Wiz types his posts with his feet, he doesn't seem to be a guy who would speculate without clearly saying he is speculating.
2. Stan suggested that what Toews has is not life threatening. This thing is even more life threatening than Covid.
3. Unfortunately, I have a relative with this disease. Symptoms started with muscle control and coordination problems. I didn't hear anything about fatigue. Of course, this info means little.
Wiz, is this something you heard? Is the source reliable? I think you should post more if you're going to post sensitive information like that. |

What was disconcerting to me, was the segment Bob McKenzie had on Toews a couple weeks back, where he said there was no news on Toews. Why would they have a segment on him if there was no new news? It could of been done in one line, not a 2 minute segment.
I guess they had run out of other things to talk about? And to trot McKenzie out there to deliver the piece? Just seemed weird to me. |

As do I, and it isn’t pretty. Very rapid decline. Shockingly rapid in fact. |

It's good to see my fear of Kubalik turning into Richard Panik 2.0 has not come to pass. - Rota's Rooter
It sure is, its also nice to see Cat become a much much much better 200 foot player, Cat seemed to fight the puck a lot last year just like Kubs is doing this year, but anytime you can get your better offensive players to try to be better all around especially defensive players that's when you really can build on something. Hope they continue in the right direction |

He’s actually playing a good 200’ game and very quietly putting together a nice year, he’s a keeper. I don’t understand why Stan gave up so much to get him. |

That's how I would describe it, too. Although Stephen Hawking had it for decades. |

No worries, Stan will badly overpay him soon. |

You’d be surprised where Bob is trotted out to. |

Wiz i hope you are really really really wrong. |

1 thing i really don't like about playing the Bolts, they do such a good job of no space for a forward entering the zone
2nd thing is all forwards must come back to the puck along the boards they do a great job of reading that play and intercepting the pass |

Obviously just subjective, but I don't think Kubalik is fighting the puck at all. He's getting good shots off, and most of the time is getting himself into good scoring positions. He also hasn't seemed to fumble many pucks. His S% last year was at 20% (not really sustainable) and this year it's at 11%. I actually like his game better this year. |

Here's your answer Theo:
The #Blackhawks have reassigned defenseman Lucas Carlsson and forward Brandon Pirri to the #IceHogs of the #AHL.
Carlsson and Pirri haven't played since Feb. 19 and Jan. 13, respectively. |
