I wonder if Campbell tweak his leg injury on Saturday but not enough to pull him out of the line up. - dmnted

Leafs goalie carousel spins away: Jack Campbell sidelined with undisclosed issue after posting a shutout Saturday, and Frederik Andersen continues to work his way back from lower-body injury.

I’m going to guess we see Woll by the 3rd period, hope I’m wrong.

Yeah, I’m not in that video but But does it surprise you that when my dad was injured and recovering in London during WW2, he spent his free time watching debates at Parliament? (Some of his spare time)

Ya this has loss written all over it. Saw a clip of Matthews practicing today too and he was just tossing soft wristers at the net. Would be more surprised if he played.

To be fair LA should have gotten a tad more...he got them a 1st and 2 B prospects.
Grundstrom I would compare him to Abramov in terms of value.
Durzi maybe Hallinder?
I’d expect NSH to take the approach of getting a A prospect and a project over 2 B prospects. - Santo_44
I don't agree with that. The framework maybe, but LA not only sold Muzzin too low, but Muzzin has less value than Forsberg. Muzzin is a top-4 defenseman, but Forsberg is a top line winger.
I think if we want in that trade discussion, we'd be giving up more in terms of asset capital - Sandin/Robertson are involved if there's retention. The other prospect involved could be a Hallander or Abramov who are NHL projected . . . and then there's the pick.
I guess you can offset the secondary prospect if you're dealing a flip piece in the deal for cap space (like Kerfoot who they would flip for picks). They have no reason to move Forsberg now unless the offer really moves them, and they have no reason to eat salary unless the offer REALLY moves them.

For it to work for us they need to retain plus bring back a guy with salary so a combination of $2.5 for a year and a half and Kerfoot at $3.5 for 2 and a half years. They better really, really like the picks and prospects that come with that. My guess is that it’s easier for them to do a deal somewhere else.
