I haven't been paranoid since I was a young teen. My parents knew I wasn't into chemicals so they didn't care if I smoked pot or drank and I'd had a few run ins with cops that found weed and I got the white kid treatment of confiscation with no penalty or record. Paranoia went away for me when I realized there were no real consequences
