Goals came so fast and furious that the Utica twitter page hasn't even posted a 3rd period goal yet.

Five goals , not bad

Can share some of those goals with the Canucks

Faber had 3 of the goals as gif's on his twitter. The Canucks prospects ones.

Rathbone for me is almost a cross between Hughes and Juolevi. Skating not as good as Hughes but better than OJ. His offensive skills are below Hughes but ahead of OJ's. OJ's defending is better than Hughes is in OJ's more limited minutes, with Rathbone hopefully in the middle. He looks like he has better defensive tools than Hughes at least.

in the NHL he might be as physical as OJ which is much more physical than Hughes.

All 3 do have very good hockey sense though.

IF JB can just fill out the right side with area's of the game that none of those 3 excel in.

Woo is looking good on the right. Having a good start to the season. He will probably do 2 years in the AHL . We do have Schmidt and Myers until we get the right guys.

JB being a inexperienced GM has to continually make strides and get better. Green has shown that he has stalled and isn't growing right now, so he should go. JB could show at the TDL and in the off season that he has grown also, otherwise he can GTFO as well.

Thanks to my deleted commented that someone deleted.

I would like to get rid of Schmidt. He's not a right side defender and in the last few games, it's been more noticeable for me that he isn't comfortable playing the right side properly.

Having to take everything on his back hand against the boards really limits his play. When exiting the zone and keep the puck in playing in the Ozone.

It's a cluster (frank) with the team right now, regardless of what Green and the players say. They're collecting money until someone figures things out.

Oh I'm just venting. As you know it takes years for even a top level goalie to get results from a new goalie coach. Took Markstrom awhile to warm to Clarke as well but there is no way we have time to nurture Holtby for 5 years. I just like to blame goalies lol.

But Holtby has been worse than expected. Is what it is.

- LordHumungous

I disagree, Holtby has been exactly as advertised. 3.++goals against, below .900 save % the past two seasons. Lost his job to his backup three times in two years. What were your expectations, that he would suddenly be great again?

There is maybe one person left in and around the NHL that will say things like "this team sucks" and that's Torts. Everybody else will make some great philosophical thought on why the team just plain sucks.

I’m technically millennial (depending on the definition), but I can’t relate to “those” people at all. They all want handouts 🤷‍♂️

"You've got to be able to move pucks and you got to be able to defend. That will get you ice time here and hopefully some ice time in the NHL.
Jett is learning to move the puck well, he's learning to play with an edge. He played simple and tough tonight."

I’m feeling generous, how about we start a new thread bet on wether Benning is the gm to start next season. My money’s on no.
- CubanBuffet

oooh tempting....what is the bet? A decent bottle of wine? lol

Tough call as Aquilini would look like a clown now firing Benning after his vote of confidence but that might not extend to the off-season...curious...

Did the Pacific Coast Highway with a buddy to the Southern tip of Baja. Started at Mavericks. Awesome drive. Santa Cruz is a pretty fun town as well.

Was hoping he'd show improvements under Clarke but wow man give the guy more than 25 games lol...

I don't know what anyone can expect from Holtby with this train wreck of a defence in front of him.

#Flames GM Brad Treliving and head coach Geoff Ward are said to be close to finalizing a 3 year extension that will see Ward earn 4.5m per year. In a statement, Brad said: "Ward is our guy.. we're not like those frenchies.. We don't fire coaches for bad goaltending"

Green's line blender the other night I stopped watching half way through the first.

I would have tried swapping Hoglander and Boeser.

Miller Petey Hoglander
Pearson Horvart Boeser

I won't dive into how (frank)en much I hate the Canucks bottom 6 and everyone of them should be traded because of how Green uses them except for Motte and Zac Mac.

- manvanfan

Is it really as simple as just moving the same guys around the lineup! Green should absolutely be fired if this is the case.

My counter proposal is just keep going with what worked in the past and let the guys play through it.

Also true. It took markstrom years to warm to Clarke's teaching and we just don't have the time with Holtby lol
