Just turned the game on to watch... those Rochester jerseys are very Canuck-like with the blue and white. Got confused as to who was who for a sec.

Also strange that some of the Comet players are STL players

“Time to end the relationship (with GM JB), put in a caretaker GM (name-checked Stan Smyl), make a plan to hire a new front office in the off-season, and sell what they can”

Not just the twitter-verse that is pointing fingers & assigning blame.

I was a bit late to turning it on and missed his the goal by about 20 seconds.

STL really doesn't have any good prospects there.

It's still pretty scrappy hockey.

I don't know why the Canucks don't have Michaelis down in Utica as the top line center. I'd much rather see Lind on the wing and Michaelis getting game reps than Baertschi playing hockey and not sitting on taxi squad doing sweet (frank) all.

Ya, doesn't seem to get great hockey. Maybe the Canucks are wanting to convert Lind to C? Seems pretty hard to switch at this point... but they traded away Madden last year so..?

Also strange seeing the Canucks jerseys and numbers out there, but not the players. Thankfully I don't have to automatically hate 21 because he's not LE

First game in almost a year basically.

Canucks future D really depends on how Rathbone and Woo turn out. They need players that use their bodies much more. Current Canucks D is soft.

If Rathbone and Woo turn out and Tryamkin comes back I’ll eat my words, which isn’t uncommon, about Benning not drafting defencemen in his seven years

If they trade someone, hopefully they get a good young D back, because ya, they need help in that area.

The reason I wanted Dobson over Hughes was because this team NEEDS better RHD. Benning just keeps drafting LHD over and over again.

Insane how there are RHD in the draft that look like they could be good and JB just skips over them for another LHD.

At this point you have Rathbone, Hughes, OJ as potential left sided D for the future.

Right now you probably have Woo for the right side future. Persson is still a long shot.

Not many teams are trading for LHD either these days because they have their own.

Yikes....Ottawa and Vancouver both with 85 goals against, only one other team is even in the 70’s against, not good.

Ottawa has two kids in the top four in rookie scoring, Josh Norris (12) and Tim Stutzle (11), Hoglander holding his own at 9 points. Hasn’t scored a point in awhile but playing well imo, the points will come.

Green's line blender the other night I stopped watching half way through the first.

I would have tried swapping Hoglander and Boeser.

Miller Petey Hoglander
Pearson Horvart Boeser

I won't dive into how (frank)en much I hate the Canucks bottom 6 and everyone of them should be traded because of how Green uses them except for Motte and Zac Mac.
