ANA didn't want to take on 3.4 mil so why would they want 3.5?

Makes no sense what you are saying.

ANA are nixing the deal because they don't want to pay Jake 3.4 mil next year but they will take the same type player next year at 3.5 mil

So Sunday, do your worst, has to be better than Saturday...

Water line to the fridge burst. Kitchen, living room, bedroom and entire downstairs suite flooded. Had to sleep on the couch in the office, there’s fans and dehumidifiers running non stop. Sounds like sitting on the runway of an airport (pre-Covid).

How about a good trade or a firing to cheer us all up?

The exact same thing happened to us a couple of years ago. It was a (frank)ing mess. Apparently those hoses are the number one cause of kitchen insurance claims.

I’m thinking braided metal hoses like they use in race cars would be appropriate...

Cam Robinson seems to think William Eklund is the prize of the draft or close to it. Thoughts? You follow the prospects.

Cam Robinson would have the tallest player in the league at 5'10".

His bias towards speed and skill has become pretty absurd.

I can't remember but I think it was Robinson who called Owen Power just the next Tyler Myers.

The only thing worse for Robinson than his bias of speed and skill is his judgement on defencemen.

Robinson would take Tyler Ennis over Patrice Bergeron 7 out of 7 days of the week.

Not a lot different from the mock sites. You do have Kent Johnson ranked higher. That is an interesting choice.

Most D listed are LHD and with OJ Hughes and Rathbone I might turn my attention to the best center available with the first pick

New blog is up, as I dig into Virtanen/Heinen and offer what I think is a creative solution.

And as for Brett Connolly: the Ducks are currently at 50 contracts, so I don't think they *can* pick someone up off waivers.

Lordy probably sits when he pees.

Funny story, Alex Edler and Troy Stecher have almost identical stat lines for the season. Wonder if Edler will be back next year?

Just the order, I haven't seen anyone that I think has been criminally ranked. I also am not like Cam Robinson where i'm ranking from the 5 games or so i've watched some of these prospects.

I think you take BPA no matter what. Prospect pools always has holes and you can trade later.

I think that Bernier is probably has a little less upside than Johnson does. Bernier plays the more responsible game currently but I think Johnson can improve that but has the better offensive upside.

Cole Sillinger is right behind them. He's tearing up the USHL 24 points in 15 games or something.
