Rangers, Leafs and maybe Buffalo come to mind - 1970vintage
Hopefully there's more than one team in on Jake. Heinen being scratched probably a trade is imminent. |

So Sunday, do your worst, has to be better than Saturday...
Water line to the fridge burst. Kitchen, living room, bedroom and entire downstairs suite flooded. Had to sleep on the couch in the office, there’s fans and dehumidifiers running non stop. Sounds like sitting on the runway of an airport (pre-Covid).
How about a good trade or a firing to cheer us all up?

Amen.....our dog got into something at Thetis Lake Park and was up puking all night, between cleaning up after him and my wife snoring through it all I need some Carolans in my coffee this morning. |

This is an interesting list, like for instance, I would never associate Jagr with NYR. I know he played there, but it was his swan song (sort of) and yet he holds their record. Also love seeing Bure with 2. - 1970vintage
Selanne and Bure on there with two teams, great goal scorers!! Rick Vaive with 54 for the Leafs is surprising, with all their history they don't have a 60 goal scorer. Too bad we traded Vaive for Tiger Williams #Canucks |

Brett Connolly had a good year last year, and the year before, much like JV. Lots of fringe guys just can't get it going this year #theCovidyear |

I wouldn't let JV play that card.

I would probably ask Fla if they want to trade Jake for him. His contract is one year longer and one million more . Losing Pearson next year also. His buyout is cheap if he sucks a little over a mil a year.

He's gotten better every year over the past three years. He's talented but I believe the organization doesn't put him in a position to succeed and when he does mess up they (Green) doesn't have any time for him.
At this point it's just better if the team moves on from him. Not a big deal. Teams move on from bottom six players all the time. Dime a dozen! |

They can send Benning a 3rd rounder to compensate for the extra year and money |

Yeah, it was funny to see guys you so strongly associate with a team being the record holder for a different team. |

I really don't care what they do this season, keep Jake, trade him, make the playoff's or don't. For me apathy has set in. I'll wait and see what the team looks like next season.

Let him clear waivers and it is a mil cheaper then send Jake for Him and when his quarantine is up send Chatfield or Hawyrluk down and bring him up

ANA didn't want to take on 3.4 mil so why would they want 3.5?
