What a terrible Fn goal to give up. Jesus Christ. Jarry WTF
- Barnaby36

Jarry got caught cheating on that one even though it looked deflected.

Fortunately Varlarmov is doing much worse things.

Jarry was worried about... wait for it... a guy camped out in front of the net with no resistance.

And it was deflected.

Completely agree. We've never been particularly good, but this team makes JJ look like a strong net front defender.

Ha ha...two quickies.

I don't understand it. I'm not asking them to beat the snot out of guys, but you can't just let the other team have a beer and a sandwich while waiting for the puck.

Yea, it's really bad. Don't have to (frank)ing wreck them. At least take their sticks. Try.

Malkin still making really dumb decisions. Like, instead of passing to one of several open teammates close by in open ice, I'll try to pass to a teammate who is double covered along the boards.

This is the worst I've seen Geno's body language in his career. Can't tell if his skills are slipping or he's mentally checked out. I can't reconcile the player we watched last year with this years version. Hard for me to believe his skills have degraded so quickly.

Seriously, it's more rare when we let up a goal and it isn't a guy wide open in front. Where was Pettersson at?

Petts is really struggling with staying in his position. He's been all over the zone tonight except for where he should be.

Tired players make more mental mistakes. I'm sticking with not in good enough shape. Unfortunately at his age that may mean last year was the last we'll see of Geno at that level.

Yeah. What was that?

At some point the coaches need to take some blame for this shït. Even though it’s the most basic positional hockey you can think of.

Haha - I guess we all saw the same thing. He was late covering on the PP goal, too - left his man wide open.

I thought he was expendable last year, this year I did a 180 and thought he was someone to build around, now I'm back to thinking he's expendable haha. He provides zero offense so it's not like he can make up for bad defense from time to time (or a lot of the time more recently).
