Gotta say, I totally agree with this blog. Yeah, there are moments I see Wilson be Wilson and wish the Pens had someone who'd go out and pummel him, but that's not the way you do it. Hex and Burke just need to bring in better players, not more physical players. If they happen to be bigger more physical players then fine, as long as they improve this lineup.

no he shouldn't have been ejected. He got a 2 minute penalty which was the correct call.

I was replying to you in the last blog. My buddy had the TPS rubber and it was (frank)ing garbage. It was heavy, sticky and floppy. It was so bad.

Never used their twigs. Always rocked Nike back in the day. Had the silver Easton Gretzky aluminum shaft when that was cool.

Warrior is my go to today. Most consistent kick point and best durability in my experience.

I have a gaudreau warrior pro stock. Backup is a WBS pro stock warrior. Third twig is a stx stallion with a small crack in the blade.

Used to only rock one backup until I broke a stick on two consecutive shifts.

Players have been suspended for less. Wilson has a history.

I have no problem with the call.

Doesn't warrant a suspension to me; then again in todays society he may be arrested.

Haha that's true. I honestly don't know what goes through Wilson's head. He's a good established power forward. It only hurts his team when he's in the box/suspended. He's so big he doesn't need to cheap shot, he can make big powerful clean hits.

I always liked Nike/Bauer/mission stuff but the sticks just didn’t last long for me.

Just saw Sully answered a question on Zucker last night.

"Well, we would be hopeful that he would be (back this season) yes," he said. "But we're reluctant to put time frames on these things because every individual is different in how they respond to injuries. We would rather just report the injuries as longer-term, and that gives everyone a kind of an idea of the nature of the rehab. But we're hopeful that we'll get him back for the regular season and get him back in our lineup as soon as we can."

That's good news I guess. Package Petts for Forsberg.

Yeah changing your roster to combat one guy isn't smart. However, we need at least 2, perhaps 3 more forwards. I wouldn't mind at all targeting bigger guys that can play. Anyone is an upgrade over Jankowski, Scevior, and O'Connor. Plus I think we still sorely miss Hornqvist.

There are ways to accomplish this.

Someone mentioned yesterday Marcus Foligno (makes a lot of sense) & Zadorov (doesnt make as much sense).

The ship has probably sailed on my boy Miles Wood.

LA Kings are looking for a young LHD. We have obvious ties with Hextall. I'd be interested in exploring Pettersson for Wagner or Kempe.

Sounds like a high ankle sprain. He’s done for the season. Even if he comes back he will look like poop.

LA wants a Dynamic young LD. And we're not giving them POJ haha. But sure Hextall can give them a call.

Exactly what I thought. I think that's the best possible outcome. I was thinking broken or torn with surgery.

Jankowski didn't even have possession. He literally batted the puck out of the air, he shouldn't have even expected to get hit, even if it wasn't late, Like, what's the chances he'd actually hit the puck much less have to prepare for a hit, and how does the guy hitting even think it's possible without intent to do something stupid? He had plenty of time to make the decision and he chose dirty which should of been a major penalty, luckily Jankowski came back but he's still been mostly useless anyway.

High ankle sprain is worst case scenario. Means there’s severe ligament/tendon damage. He’s gonna suck for a good year or two.

You don't need possession to be eligible to be hit. I mean, you said he touched it.

It was late. 2 minute interference. Move on.
