This summer overseas they said his issue was d and he was a natural in the offensive zone but so far his d has been good and he is starting to get comfortable on offense. I think he's earned a permanent spot [/img]

Definitely agree. He's clearly got that sniper skillset and mentality. The defensive part is a learned mindset and there are few better than Trotz to teach him.

100% and the isles really need a homegrown talent on the wing that is cost controlled for the next few years. I think this could be their guy and he's already on pp2 and has created a goal off a rebound and got another shot through last night that almost lead to a goal. All good signs moving forward

Lee is having an amazing season. He is going to get close to 30 goals this season. He is one of the best captains in islanders history

I could see Wahlstrom getting close to 50 goals at some point in his NHL career. He is a dynamic player and is going to be an elite player.
