The kid really hustles. His goal against the Bruins last week turned the game around.

I agree. I’m in no rush to move him. Especially with their lack of forward prospects in the minors outside of Holstrom

I don't know how much the league does or doesn't scrutinize the circumstances around a player being placed on LTIR but it seems like it'd be kinda hard to convince them that in between being healthy enough to play in a playoff game and this season he managed to severely injure himself

But I'm all for it

Ever since Chicago came up with that skin rash for Hossa I’m convinced the NHL don’t give a shat 😂😂

Beau is streaky but at the same time still young and is a big piece of this team. He needs more consistency but I wouldn’t look to move him unless you’re getting bonafide scorer back in some kind of multiplayer deal. He was solid in the playoffs last year

Even if he doesn't fully work out as a bigger offensive contributor, he's got a place as a great middle-six forward that can play in all 3 situations.

Islanders have zero cap space right now. And this summer very little money is coming off the books. Very tough decisions are coming. That is why I said Beauvillier might be gone. As a cap casualty. Only money coming off the books is cizikas and one player in the expansion draft.

I just don't see it. Then again I didn't see Toews getting dealt either, lol. I think Lou would bite the bullet and give up a high draft pick or assets this time around then lose another young home grown player for pennies on the dollar

It's amazing how Pageau only makes 1.5 more then Clutterbuck

I was just checking out their cap for next year. They are facked big time Lou is going to have to murder Ladd in the offseason and then get somebody to take Leo & Clutterbuck

Also if they are convinced Sororkin is the real deal by the end of this season then Varly has to go as well

Not trying to die on this hill, but I think he does a real good job on the forecheck and disrupting things. He's probably best suited for a 4th line role but I really don't think he's problematic at all playing on the 3rd line.

I’m not losing my mind with him being on the third line but if there’s an option that could potentially score I’m going with them because there’s not much potential with him doing that

Snow really put us in a terrible situation now with the Cap. This Is the team we will have for the rest of the year.

Good thing cap hell is for only one more year then they have like 26 million coming off the books but have to pay some key guys still.
