Dube's over-rated, he's fast but the play dies on his stick like Bennett
I'd keep Lindholm around, he plays the right way, and you have to realize he brought Markstrom to Calgary, but Gaudreau and Monahan need to get dumped
Odds are they'll try to re-tool with Hall as a UFA, and at least he's big enough for puck battles, unlike Gaudreau
I'm pretty sure the team dynamic works like this:
-Gaudreau/Monahan = buddies, only play well when they're together. Gaudreau made a comment that he "didn't expect to be apart from Monahan 'that long' last season" - so I wouldn't be surprised if they hate Ward, & therefore coast
-Bennett hates Gaudreau/Monahan, because they only play well together and he got snubbed, while they got paid. He probably hates Ward too. He only tries in the playoffs to keep his value up and keep GMs interested
-Treliving: was too sold on this being a "tight knit team" and didn't make enough adjustments past few seasons. Lucic could have been dumped for a 1st, giving him space to sign Hall.
If we had more guys like Mangiapane this would be a pretty hard team to play against, but Bennett is king of coasting, Monahan+Gaudreau coast..
