So Ek you said this year is different and there are more sellers? As usual all the teams you listed are the worst teams trying to get rid of pending UFA’s and over paid dead weight. How is this any different than any other year?

Caps too. Columbus likely big buyers to put them over the hump when they finish first and go on a cup run.

Gagner is the only current NHL'er, with an 8 point game. There's that.

Really bad time to sell. If these team where smart they would wait until the off-season after the expansion draft. The cap space just isn't good this year. The NHL needs to have exceptions every year at the trade deadline for veterans who wana win a cup. Particularly for expiring contracts.

Why??

derek stepan likely heading for shoulder surgery and a 4-6 month recovery time, you can remove him from the ottawa list (not like we'd get much for him anyways).

i'dd add Dzingel, probably L. Brown, and Mike Reilly to that list.

Seems like Canucks should be on this list, although who are they selling at the deadline? Pearson, Sutter, Benn? Rousell and Beagle would be nice to move but no way someone takes them. Same for Holtby...

Virtanen and Gaudette should wait until off season if they are being moved unless they are the sweetener to move one of the above contracts.

Sam Gagner has 0 goals and 2 assists in 13 games. He's an Underrated Difference Maker. I barely notice him but that's why he's such an Underrated Difference Maker. The other teams don't notice him either. Just think of what he could do while playing in game 7 OT of a SCF?

That guy Virtanen, should have been traded last summer or the summer before...

Minnesota- Parise, Cole, Bonino, Johansson, Zuccarello, Hartman, Stalock, Bjugstad, Rask.

Glendening and the Leafs are a Good Fit. Gives a Faceoff Specialist.

My Canucks would love to be sellers but the guys they want to sell aren't worth much more than a bag of pucks

Again who's buying?what contenders have the cap space to do much of anything?I cant see alot happening at this deadline,other than 3rd pairing cheap defense being moved.
