CJ is a great coach but I can't agree he was left go for no reason. MB thinks he built a winner last summer and he did make a huge improvement so when things started to go south he had to protect his a55 by getting rid of CJ. KM is also a great hockey mind but for whatever reason he could not get the PP to go. Surely can't blame that on poor personnel with names like petry, weber, trofolli, anderson , gallagher and suzuki in the mix.
After a booming start teams quickly figured the Habs out. The habs failed to change anything and their predictability in their offensive scheme was their downfall. I would also mention that they have tried the same thing on the power play for 3 years even though it rarely works.
Secondly the centers have been mediocre as a group; while suzuki has been a bright spot he hasn't been able to win enough draws to make him a force, Evans and Danualt are also great defensively BUT the teams issue in their last several games has been scoring goals. The centers need to do more.
i don't think it's any problem to see that price just isn't who he was. I'm not saying he can't be. They certainly aren't all his fault but if you bring his save percentage up to .915 I think the habs would have had 2-3 more wins.

Friedman is a career tweener. At best he will be a bottom pair guy. It isnt like they lost a player with hige potential. Flyers need a #2 guy and neither Friedman nor Gustuffsson are the answers

Julien as a coach resembles Price as a goalie. Two guys who have accomplished alot, but are way over valued today because they were once the best at their craft.

Boston improved greatly when they moved on from Julien, and since he's been in Montreal the Canadiens have been abismal on many fronts. Being solid 5 on 5 is not enough when you have terrible PP, PK, you don't win games and the team goes into questionning attitude and if theyre even having fun playing 2-3 times a year.
