The biggest reason is indirectly related to the pandemic. And it's that you have to pay $70 for a test before going in. Add that on top of the ticket price, and going to watch what might be the worst team in franchise history makes it not worth it.

Give me a free ticket and a free Covid test and I probably go...and then leave after the 1st period.

- buffalofan19

Typical covidfan19 post. Some people are flat out avoiding situations that may effect our health.

$ isnt really the issue for me.
Season ticket credit covers the seats....
Covid test is the price of doing pandemic business.

Saved a whole season of Bill's tix and Sabres tix. No vacations, no eating out....

Imagine spending $175 dollars to get covid and watch Sheahan center the first line in a 5-2 loss.

I will still throw $10 to a go fund me for someone to buy a ticket, scream at Ralph and get kicked out. $20 even

I'd do it but i'm north of the border.... more like west but you know what I mean.

If the Sabres were remotely good, I would consider it. It's all about the suck.

There's less social distancing at the grocery store.

- buffalofan19

Yeah, different views on the pandemic.

We have our groceries delivered.....

Have fun at the golf tournament, looks like nice weather 👍

Beane is setting himself up nicely for the draft
- Buff36

I thought Beane sucked after reading post upon post upon post upon post referencing his mistakes.
Another bad take.
He is building quite the list

There are enough people on both sides of the isle to fill that arena.

The Rangers sold out all 2,000 per game of their allotment since they were allowed.

The Islanders start next week as well, and have already sold all 1,300 tickets for their next seven games.

It's the suck keeping people away more than the virus.

Can't hate on the people for going if its allowed... hate on the government. They're the ones allowing it to take place.

The number of Canadian season ticket holders vs US season ticket holders is always vastly overstated. It ranges about 15-20% per year. It's a lot, but never close to "the majority".
- buffalofan19

I feel there is more retail buying if anything.

Trying to get back into Canada after a Sabres home game regardless of who they are playing is a poop show.

To be fair, there is a pandemic still going on by the way. Perhaps STH's are smartly staying away for that reason. I know that would be the biggest reason for me, and not because they suck.

Fans shouldn't even be allowed back yet. This is so stupid.

Plenty of Canadians behind both nets. They did a huge season ticket drive just over the border, back in the day.

Those seats were always reasonably priced

As a person with Congestive heart failure which is in the extremely high risk category.
Personally, I think far too many healthy people make a bigger deal out of this Chinese virus situation than people that are far more vulnerable like myself.
Life is a collage of decisions and always will be.
If you don't want to go somewhere?
It's your decision whether to go somewhere not.
No one is making anyone do anything!

Over 99.8% of those infected with the Chinese virus recover.
In my opinion, people need to stop living in fear, especially healthy human beings.

Again, as a human being diagnosed with cardiomyopathy- end stage Congestive heart failure Supraventricular and 2 heart surgeries later?
I go everywhere and I judge no one for the decisions that they choose to make.
I choose to LIVE and not to live in fear of something that 99.8 % of those infected recover from.
This has been way overhyped in my opinion.

I also absolutely refuse to get a vaccine that we have no idea of what the long term effects are, especially with heart failure.
I'll take my chances seeing that 99.8% of those infected, live to fight another day after contracting the Chinese virus.

We need to stop allowing the media to control our lives as Americans.
It's way past time to begin living our lives again.
Way past time.

Family has had seats since day 1... My grandpa used to sit by Phil Housleys wife at the Aud, my dad would always be yelling "HEY PHILLIS" folowed by some remark about how he was feminine.

I'm also distanced in the restaurant? If im far enough away I dont need a mask... Should be based on size of restaurant not just 10 to every restaurant.

I watched an 80 year old woman take her mask off to blow her nose in line today. I swear to God the majority of bad behavior in stores is old people with a "Jesus, take me now" attitude

Everything that I said is true my friend.
I respect everyone's decision to handle this the way that best fits their life and their beliefs.
Respect is an important word because respect seems to have been lost in today's society.

I've been through enough the past 8 months.
The Chinese virus is the least of my worries.
