Granted, i haven’t watched Rieder much in his career.... but i liked what i saw from him in the playoffs last year. Never understood all the get some had for him??
He’s a pretty decent-good depth player imo

Yeah. Sheahan is a perfect 11-13 forward because of his versatility IMO.

Rieder is decent, but kind of only has one good attribute and that’s his speed

Well that’s not true
Plenty of others like them
Not everyone lives & dies by the Sabres like most of the clowns on here

There’s A LOT more Bills fans than Sabres

And it’s not like i “love” the job they’ve done with the Sabres
They’ve obviously taken some swings & misses
Just think the hate goes overboard,
especially here

He scores goals in a depth role too. Unless he's a healthy scratch

Either way, Jefferson was a mistake
And the $$$ paid to Murphy last year could’ve been rolled over to this year if we’d have let him go

I’ll wait to see if Epenesa turns into anything before i give the puck any credit,
especially bc Dobbins looked so good already last year & it was fairly obvious that he would
Miss looks average at best to me
*and yes, i said all this last year when we passed on Dobbins

- jdfitz77

Jefferson was very good in Seattle, he didn't turn out, but he was playing out of position again, and Murphy I will say was a bad call and think McDermott had a say in that, Singletary was pretty good when he finally took over for Gore, so I can't blame Beane for Dobbins but in hindsight it was a miss.

If Jefferson was played in the wrong spot to be successful- that’s STILL on McBeane in general

And we didn’t NEED all those Def linemen
Was just an utterly dumb way to spend & waste so much Cap
Don’t need 5 DTs rotating, etc

I know people joke about Tage being a 25 goal scorer, but having one goal on the Buffalo Sabres is like having 12 1/2 goals on another team so he’s halfway there
- sbroads24

Olofsson would have a 100 goals in that senario.☝️

Jefferson was played out of position because Star opted out, and Coach's make that call not Beane, and the Bill's have rotated Dline like that since McDermott came here, that's how they run there defense
