Yankee Barbecue on Rt.5 by the Ford plant has pretty good stuff, Kentucky Greg's was pretty good of off the 33, but someone said they might just be doing catering know.

They are operating at a loss this season that is with the current TV deal.

Yankee Barbecue on Rt.5 by the Ford plant has pretty good stuff, Kentucky Greg's was pretty good of off the 33, but someone said they might just be doing catering know.

Yep, Kentucky Greg retired a couple of years ago and closed their George Urban restaurant. They do pop-up events and do pre-orders on Instagram and Facebook now and you can pick the food up at the old restaurant or they deliver. Sometimes they sell their goods at Eastern Hills Mall in the food court (where that pretzel joint used to be). But they were the best in town when they were open on George Urban ... God I miss that place. It was so close to me, as well.

Cheektowaga needs a good BBQ place. Smokey Bones sort of sucks and is too expensive, plus I'm not even sure they're still open. Famous Dave's was nice before they closed, but again, too expensive. The small mom & pop BBQ joints are the best, not those chain BBQ places.

Oh ! Speaking of BBQ (sort of), tonight I had THE BEST sandwich of my life at Frank's Gourmet Hot Dogs at 707 Kenmore Ave, Buffalo. Sure, their hot dogs are great, but holy crap, are their specialty sandwiches amazing !!! This week, they have : "The Pork Sando", which is a beer braised pulled pork sandwich topped with cilantro-lime-queso slaw and pickles. Their pickles are these thick-@ss cut, crispy circles and those alone are the best pickles I've had. Get one of those sandwiches before the week comes to an end. They do bring it back every once in a while though.

Frank's is top notch quality for everything they make. Recently, they were voted 76th best restaurant in America, according to a Yelp survey. Think about that ... 76th in the COUNTRY ! You guys need to check them out. And no, I don't work there or know anybody that does. Trust me ... it's awesome !

Yeah Kentucky Greg's was good, they had a place out on Southwestern in West Seneca thinks it's a Cigar place know, there deep,fried hot peppers were tasty and along with everything else

We're not, there was obviously some smoke with Eichel this off-season. If he's traded it's because it's become a Watson type of situation.
