They players really like Krueger and Pegula isn't going to fire anyone else he still has to pay and that's his own fault for not hiring anyone with hockey knowledge to run the team.

If they really like Krueger, then they should bring the urgency and hustle we saw today to EVERY game.

I'd suspend Carrier for 5 games to send a message that this kind of nonsense is unacceptable and not a hockey play going forward.

Well then I am back to “promoting” Ralph and adding a real coach... which also won’t happen cause terry is blinded by synergy

My rant for the month.
It’s trade Eichel time. He is so disconnected, emotionally drained. The team feeds off of his lack of intensity. We had some guys step up yesterday. We played 2 good periods and still barely held on for a win.
Eichels stock is very high right now. Do we really want to wait until he’s completely checked out, demanding a trade, and we have to settle for a shi!!y first, a prospect that won’t pan out and a salary dump?
That’s what it will come to.
Cozens is our future 1st line centre. Let’s build on it

Yeah Concierge of Marriott Harbor Center, he can book tours and have 1on1 synergy talks with guests. Don't want him anywhere near the front office.

McDavid 37pts in 20gp.

On pace for 150pts over a full season.

Meanwhile, in Buffalo... *looks at stats*... Yeah we got the consolation prize that draft.

Interesting stuff.

“This thing’s real. It’s no joke,” Lazar said. “Us guys who’ve had it, kind of talking about our symptoms and what we’re going through, it’s really interesting just the wide range of symptoms and how guys can be affected.”

Lazar lost his senses of taste and smell while being congested and fatigued. Montour had a “pretty tough couple weeks.” McCabe had symptoms for five days. Meanwhile, Mittelstadt had the sniffles and Hall was asymptomatic.

McDavid is great, but he is playing in a completely jokerfied division that doesn't believe in defense.

Oh right because he isn't 5th all-time in .ppg scored in NHL history...

I'd like to know where this rhetoric got started about the Canadian division. They have four teams over .600 win %. The only division in the NHL this year that does.

See, this is the thing... they don't absolutely need to fire Krueger...just get him out of Coaching the team. Move him upstairs where his organizational talent may be better utilized across the org.
His strength isnt in coaching.

https://www.espn.com/nhl/...st/year/2021/seasontype/2

caps are 4th worst in goals per game allowed

we didn't score squat on them

you have 7 really bad teams allowing goals, nucks and sens on that list

the other teams in that division are middle of pack

I think the stats reflect more that 3 of the best 5 goal scorers in the nhl are in that division

it's a hot mess and fingers are being pointed in every direction

I mean the coach literally said yesterday they finally had time to use face off wins as a weapon and plan around it the other day

your head coach waits for 6 weeks to figure out how to use face off wins to help plan an attack

you can't make this stuff up

Well, of course, everyone in hockey circles are going to have an opinion on it now.

The other thought is, why is Hall considering extending here, if the Sabres are going to possibly listen to offers for Eichel? That makes zero sense.

I don't agree with it either, but Vancouver and Ottawa are pretty abysmal at the hockey this year.
The argument that could hold water is if other Canadian teams and players have played an unbalanced schedule so far with a higher number of games against those two teams, then a case can be made that those records are padded based on inferior competition.

Montreal, Toronto, Edmonton seem to be playing decently though.
