😂😂😂😂

Sorry, but this culture has been (frank)ed for the past few years.

- Powerslave

I kinda liked KA's explanation of culture. It really is a moving target, and it's most discernable when you're winning. But there's definitely a culture in there, and it's a rudderless boat floating into oblivion with a crew disinterested in changing course, and the captain demanding that they keep swabbing the deck.

No, they have some great points and pretty much say what we're all seeing.

Why the (frank)ing OWNERSHIP here refuses to see it is beyond me.

It starts with about 8:30 left in the segment.

Not sure I really agree man. The arrow was pointing down from the start of the season, and even from last season.

The players play an extremely dull brand of hockey, and their confidence is shot, and they play perimeter point shot mr softee bullpoop hockey, and their coach isn't willing to conform to the talent on the team, AND covid has affected players, and they know their season is sunk.

Bundle it all up and you have a team worthy of the slug ensigna.

- TheSabresTaco

If we look at what has changed from last year I would say we brought in more proven leaders that if anything should have made culture a non issue period. Doesn’t make sense when these guys show up at the door everyone says we’re fvcked now. Soft I agree but they were soft last year too. The one that is most convincing is system. Play the cards you’re dealt. Has Ralphie done that? Quite obviously no so it’s a bad system for this group and I will still say the Covid break did them in.

It’s time to ride with the kids. Before you go shopping it’s best to look in the cupboards to see what you need. The kids should be in net, on defence and at forward. Don’t sit any of the prospects but let some vets enjoy some popcorn in the stands.

He benched Cozens and Mitts after great games... to play Okposo in the top 6... I dont think this coach will ride with the kids.

Covid may not have helped or the McCabe and Ullmark injuries. But clearly Ralph is not adapt at implementing a system to get the most out of his talent. When you have 3 former NHL players that can’t figure out what they are trying to do, you probably have a coach that’s, simply, not a good coach. Might be a great guy that players love but when it comes to winning hockey, he ain’t got a way to figure it out.

End of the day, what players have made progress under Ralph? McCabe? Risto pre covid? Olo on the pp?

That’s not getting nearly enough out of the rest of your players.

Honest question. Does Okposo help on PK? Like I know Eakin and Reider do, which barely justifies their being constantly in the lineup.

wtf does Kyle even do anymore

Here's a guy who took a 2M paycut (opportunity to earn some back) to stay with the Bills. No ultimatum provided, he just wanted to help. Imagine having a team players love to be on that much that they'll take a pay cut willingly.
- TheSabresTaco

Does it rain in your world?

How are you so sure that no ultimatum was provided?
Agents kinda know what parimeters teams are able to work within. Then advise their clients.

The concussion issue is also concerning.

The shot heat maps is the only analytic you need when it comes to why this team can't score goals. It's ice-cold inside the dots.

And Ralph has turned Dahlin into a soulless eunuch.

He started talking about how he's tuff and if he wasn't tuff he wouldn't do this tuff job because only tuff men can handle this tuff job and he likes it tuff or else he wouldn't tuff out this tuff job. That's when I quit.

He hadn't said anything about hockey 4 minutes in
