I find it very interesting that in a season where the entire team is massively struggling to produce EV Goals, Staal is singled out for poor performance.
His total production is in line with the minutes he is playing, when compared to other Forwards.

Is he producing enough? NO.
Is anyone in the F group performing to expectations, NO.
Is that a coincidence, or would one think the system is restricting production?

I like him when healthy

Meh, he's just ok. He can get run over by physical Dmen

Yeah just worry about all those concussion's. Heard Feliciano was very close to resigning but there hagling over bonuses and guarantees, could move on to that kid from the Raiders Gabe Jackson.

It’s just nice for the continuity on the line and depth (when healthy). I hope they hammer out Feliciano, I like him too.

I’m hoping for some nice team friendly 1-2 year deals. I keep hearing there is going to be a bunch of cuts league wide.

Get a few solid guys on some short term deals and hopefully it can push us over the hump.

Sam Reinhart has been consistently good. Mittelstadt has been good, Cozens has been good. Hall and Eichel both have really good on ice impacts but can’t score to save their lives

Staal has been all around bad. He’s a really bad 2C at this point. He fell off the cliff

So KA has a press conference to announce what exactly? Ralph isnt his guy, the longer this goes on the less I believe he has much say about anything. Unless no one wants to coach here which at this point wouldnt surprise me either

That burner account poop on twitter is interesting, hilariously sad if its true

We are all caught in the black widows web. That bltch deserves every bit of criticism she gets. Lafontaine was the warning sign and we were too blinded at the time to see it. I cant believe it has actually gotten to this point

- ieetbred

i have been out for about a week other than watching the games on fast forward while i cried on this inside. Are we looking for a new coach (we should be) or what the hell is going on?

last year johansson was .5 ppg player p laying out of position as a center

staal really needs to be dropped to the third line and let cozens center the second line

Here's a guy who took a 2M paycut (opportunity to earn some back) to stay with the Bills. No ultimatum provided, he just wanted to help. Imagine having a team players love to be on that much that they'll take a pay cut willingly.

Well 1 less hole to fill, he wanted to be here and Allen likes him, but he would have been released if he didn't take the pay cut. Just worry about those concussions.

Sal describes it differently. Apparently he wasn't up against being released.

He does like it here and a opportunityto win it all, but reports are he would have been released if he didn't agree to take the cut.

I was trying to think of bad Nic Cage movies based on yesterdays discussion.

Arsenal was really bad. So was 211.

Yeah, there was a report on NFL.COM that he was told to take the cut or be released, but it's gone and Rappaport is reporting the same thing as Sal. Sorry for the wrong information.

The Pegula family lifestyle SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED!

Changing coaches would clearly infringe on the Pegula family lifestyle.

Ssssoooooo

Strong words from ex-#Sabres D man @CarloColaiacovo on what's going on now. Bad culture, too much of a country club, not enough leadership. A great listen as always. #Leafslunch

Skating like he can't wait to get out. Shows flashes of the big, smart, talented center he once was, and imo could still be on a more consistent basis, but it seems like, "Meh, why bother?"
