Sure, he's not the worst, that's true, but he's easily the most boring.

What does it matter, by the look of it we are stuck with the Soccer coach anyways.

Ps: no such thing as a bad Nic Cage movie

Vampires Kiss is my favorite. I remember seeing that in the theater, laughing my ass off at the entire thing. LOVED it. My wife was not amused ...

I'm still not sure whether he was supposed to be ridiculous in that or if he was just inadvertently hilarious. I guess I'd prefer to never know

Tampa his goaltending sucked and St. Louis got hurt, and missed most of December and a few others. And Ottawa started to tear it down. Is he the best one for the job, don't know, but his teams have done more then we have in over a decade.
- Buff36

He played 77 games that year scoring 74 points. He was 36. They had a 60 goal scorer and missed the playoffs. And they played the most boring game of hockey. That's not great coaching. You have all that firepower up front and you play almost exclusively trap? That's not adjusting to your players. And on top of playing the most boring style of play they allowed 19 more goals than the next closest team. They missed the playoffs in the weakest division since the big re-alignment of '98. Stamkos, St Louis, and Lecavalier combined with the worst division and still miss? The Sabres, with Pominville leading the way, had 5 more points in a way harder division and had a better powerplay. Yeesh. Like Bylsma and Babcock with all that talent, you're bound to hit and win eventually.

And missed 2 1/2 weeks in December. Lecavalier played 64, Malone played 68, Hedman 61, Gilroy 53, Gervais 50, they were missing players and Rolston sucked.

Not to rag on Jcrag, but I sorta predicted that it wouldn’t be a massive upgrade going from Larsson to Staal.....

You like comparing those 2? Larsson to Eakin seems more appropriate, even if it's ridiculously one sided. I want to rant about where they opted to hand out multi-year deals, but it's pointless (pun intended).

Banana splits- was hoping for better

Larsson was by default the #2 center mostly. Which is hilarious in itself

But I figured downgrading from Larsson to Eakin and then propping up a 36 year old wasn’t going to produce wildly different results

Last few years, we knew who was going to get the dzone starts and they were going to be good at it. It's spread out a bit more this year, but it's just bad....and there was no reason to expect it to be good.

So KA has a press conference to announce what exactly? Ralph isnt his guy, the longer this goes on the less I believe he has much say about anything. Unless no one wants to coach here which at this point wouldnt surprise me either

That burner account poop on twitter is interesting, hilariously sad if its true

We are all caught in the black widows web. That bltch deserves every bit of criticism she gets. Lafontaine was the warning sign and we were too blinded at the time to see it. I cant believe it has actually gotten to this point

Yeah just worry about all those concussion's. Heard Feliciano was very close to resigning but there hagling over bonuses and guarantees, could move on to that kid from the Raiders Gabe Jackson.
