I know you have SamHate coursing through your veins, but he is about the only one who meshes well with Jack...and Skinner who is unmovable.

Trade the rest you mentioned and more. Find a big winger for Cozen's right side; ala Anderson, Tuck, Wilson variety. I'd go after Tkachuk in Calgary ... pay the price and profit. Use the rest to get a quality 3C who can set-up Olo on the right side 5v5.

I haven't seen enough PRICEs being paid around here.

Did i ever say NOT to change the coach? NOPE

And no, there aren’t a lot of Top6 guys available who are tough to play against
That doesn’t mean i disagree that we’re soft
I just think bringing in bottom6 guys who are tough to play against won’t make that much of a difference

This team will be bad for the rest of the season. Hire an interim coach, go hunting outside of the organization this summer when you can have conversations around the league, and around hockey.

Of course, unless you really think Julien, Gallant and Boudreaux really is the answer.

- TheSabresTaco

I have a really awful feeling Terry is going to stick to his guns here and Ralph is going to be the coach of this team at the start of next season.

They will have an end of year presser where they make a statement and don't take questions.

It was COVID. It was lack of training camp. It was lack of time to build synergy together with all the new players. Girgengod got injured. Ristolainen was sick. Ullmark was hurt. Jack played hurt all year. No confidence, stability, blah blah blah.

So, if Ralph is indeed relieved of his coaching duties.
Who would you all like to see hired as the new head coach?

Me?
I don't like to see anyone fired when they are earnestly trying to do their job.
But Ralph just seems to not be the proper fit for this particular group of players.

In my opinion it needs to happen sooner rather than later.😔

I can't envision a reality that an angry KA even considers this. That's assuming you take him at his word that he has full control over hirings.

He never once endorsed Ralph's coaching ability yesterday. And that says everything.

Botterill endorsed Housley at the trade deadline before he fired him at the end of the season. Imagine what a GM will do without that endorsement.

You hire a guy to form concrete but he takes the floats and jams them into the concrete over and over again, but he's earnestly trying hard and after two years of telling him to do something different, he costs you significant amounts of time and money. It's either he does the job right or he must be fired.

What's your choice.

Of course, I believe you believe in his removal as well.

Well after we lose tomorrow by the same score, they should honestly just punch him in the (frank)ing face and tell him to go away before everyone in Buffalo jumps off the Peace Bridge, it's becoming that unbearable.

Not to mention that as an organization, you can not use excuses (circumstances) that every other team in the league is literally working under as well.

Adams had no excuses yesterday. He went out of his way to express as much. Until there's action, it's all noise. But he did well yesterday.

Relieving Ralph of his coaching duties with this group of players is the right thing to do, yes.
It just isn't working.
There's no cohesion with this group.
That is why I dare not call them a team.
How can I call them a team when they don't play like one?

There's more than meets the eye here going on behind the scenes in my opinion.

That's utter bullpoop. I thought you were a data man? Dahlin has regressed every year under Krueger. Joker is lost. Hall is nowhere. Staal is lost. Skinner is playing 12 minutes a night. Eichel is nowhere to be found.

It's the most talented team in 10 years and 90% of the players are worse.

It's not a fluke. This coach is actively making players worse

That's it, it is just lip service right know. I think Ralph is gone after the weekend. Whether it being fired or he hands in his resignation, he looks like a corpse, literally.

I never said you did

Bottom6 guys that are tough to play against won’t make a difference- and often are facepunchers though

And top6 guys who are tough to play against, are pretty hard to acquire

Ok

I pointed out the fact that:

Sabres hired former jack Adam's winner ted nolan as head coach. He would have had a 1 year contract if he was temporary. He tried to ruin the tank - thus fired

Stanley cup winner disco dan
And went heavy after babc0ck.

You have an opinion, but these are facts.

I'd take Teddy back at this point, just so I could stand to watch Fvckinsons for 2 more years.

PS, I'm 1/2 way through a Bourbon w/1 cube.
