Eakin wasn't to bad until the ball and chain Okposo got hooked to his leg.

Can you imagine making six million dollars a year to skate up and down the ice at a very slow rate of speed for 14 minutes a night, never contributing anything of value during said minutes, and having your boss just be head over heels in love with you for some unknown reason?

Yeah really don't get it Power, I would much rather see Asplund or Rusto. But they do say Okposo hands are soft and supple caressing Terry and Ralph's balls.

Well maybe if Hall does extend Terry will move Ralph up to Concierge of Harbor Center Marriott and we will get a real coach.

Well most teams it does, usually helps to have the puck more then the other team, but the Sabres like to do things backwards.

Isn’t there a quote in the locker room or on the way to the ice that say “you never go full zhitnik” ... Ralph has gone full zhitnik. It reminds me of playing nhl 94 on the snes. Pass to the point and bombs away!!!!

Why Sorry, maybe we can hire Tonya Harding and she could take out Ralph with Rhino's purse, and see what Smith could do with this group or Appert, can't be any worse.

The Fix is to convince Okposo that Retirement is in his best interest...the Recapture Penalty is $2m per for each of the 21-22 and 22-23 seasons (saves $4m each)
That is better than a Buyout this upcoming off season as the B/O will save them only $1m next season, then $3m savings in 22-23, before costing them $1m per in 23-24 and 24-25 each.
Difference is, Okposo would not receive $s in retirement, whereas he would earn money in each of his B/O years.
So Terry would need to make it attractive for him by paying a $6m salary total for doing something to "make him whole" over 4 years.

The 2nd fix is to get Skinner to waive his NMC for the Exapansion Draft, then offer Seattle a 2021-1st and say Tage or CJ Smith...something like that. That '21 1st is likely to be a pretty good pick...but the draft year isn't the best so it is time to do it.

1 - $4 mill savings per year is like 2 girgensons. That’s not bad.

2- Okoposo could also become “allergic” to his equipment and be LTIR’d.

3- I still like skinner, but I understand if they want to keep hall over skinner, I guess...

4- it still doesn’t address the most largest boat anchor this teams faces. Ralph is not a good hockey coach. Rearrange the deck chairs on the titanic all you want... ain’t nothing gonna change until this team is run by a real, nhl caliber, coach.... probably managed by one too, but that really really ain’t happening any time soon.

Jack is going soon. NYR will give you a haul, but.......the cap will have to be even so you will get a slug in there somewhere.

Jack + Hutton + a 2nd for Strome, ADA, Georgie, Kakko, and a 1st + Sabers 3rd

I think the vast majority of us are in complete agreement.
I was speaking from a roster /player perspective.

I have zero confidence Kerry and Tim will move on from Kevyn Krueger.

This would be terrible on the Sabres side of things. We would be laughed back to the AHL after this trade.
