i think jack, cozens and dahlin are great building blocks no matter what identity they chose to move forward with

Adding another top 5 pick is Frustrating but it's better then getting killed in a trade.

Thought the top 3 were all d prospects this year. Power, Hughes, and Edvinsson.

Kinda funny though. 4 of the top 8 prospects are playing at Michigan, or are committed there (Powers, Hughes, Johnson, Beniers)

So sounds like there isn't a consensus top couple guys, and more of who do you prefer up top. The more sites checked out, the more jumbled mess it looks like.

Sounds like the 2017 draft then.

If buffalo wants to move jack get Dylan Larkin ,Raymond

That will wake up both franchises

- Elite Josh Allen

If they took skinner in the trade too I would be interested.

Raymond/Larkin/Quinn
Paterka/Cozens/oloffson

Is a solid potential top 6.

We would have the best cap situation in the league too. Valuable asset to be in. Trade a few other players for younger players picks and I would like our new core.

eichel is the only one on this team that drives play consistently

I'm sorry but if you cant be a playoff contender with Jack Eichel, Sam Reinhart, Dylan Cozens, Taylor Hall, Jeff Skinner, Rasmus Dahlin and Eric Staal, then you need to be taken out back and shot. Figuratively, of course.

Has he really done anything for people not to be upset. Cozens showed more Heart in 45 seconds than Jack has in awhile.
- Buff36

Sounds a lot like what many said about O'Reilly.

That worked out well.

I'm sure trading Eichel would work out well too.

Agree
Quinn
Peterka
Borgen
Samuelsson
Bryson
Pekar for a little grit

- Buff36

i think you start with borgen, who's gone through the entire developmental process and is ready for a permanent role in the nhl...you've got asplund and bryson ready for lesser nhl roles with some room for further development

I don't want to trade Eichel, just want him to be a Captain and lead his team. He deserves some of the backlash he's getting.

Lol. Just venting. Sorry.

I don't know, but I'm sick of the prospects, promising young players, this, that, the other thing.

No one from the owners on down can seem to deliver, so (frank) it.

Optimistic Powerslave is gone. Congrats, Terry and Kim. You win.

He had a bad 20 games. Part of it is attitude, part of it is possibly injury. The fastest path to getting better is to keep him and continue to build around him (require competent management, of course). We would almost certainly lose a trade. Buffalo has a long history of stupidly chasing out its stars - lets not do it again.

Two things Buffalo sports fans hate about their star players.

1) They make money
2) They are so talented at times it appears they are not trying as hard

Just wait until Josh Allen gets paid.

The Fanbase will turn on him too.

Trading Oreilly ruined the next several years, pretty much sabotaging our timeline with Eichel.

Would been a playoff team last year with Oreilly. Maybe this year too.

At this point Jack will want out, so we can get real talent back in a trade with him, instead of the garbarge we got back with Oreilly.
