The problem with this is that if you’re gonna blame them for the Sabres,
then you’ve gotta give them props for the Bills

Works both ways

You really think that they are these savvy football minds that fleshed out the best coaching and GM candidates? 😂

They. Got. Lucky.

they were dancing around in an entrepreneurial playground once he cashed in on his business...just dancing and having "fun" like kim said about being the president of both clubs..."it's fun"
really!?

- Michael Pachla

My uncle's friend with the Sabres, who has been with them for a hell of a long time, wasn't even told that this past June he wasn't getting paid anymore until the season started. This 10 years of losing now and how much longer on top of the 10 years of losing can this organization keep going like this. Him and his wife refuse to listen, just refuse.

"i've been thinking about getting into one for a few games and was waiting for the time..."

"that was the main goal, to get them fired up on the bench"

cozens on the fight

I have a feeling that as this young man grows/matures, he will become this fanbases favorite player.

If he extends, what are the odds that it's either too much, too long, or both? We're really good at both.

But really, this isn't working out for either side right now.

- Lunaion

If you're the Sabres, are you doing your job if you're not trying to lock Hall in at 4 years and $7M per as a max?

What's the downside? He says no?

He’s been exceptional since they called his name with the 7th overall pick.

Had a great year at Lethbridge the following year. Won Gold at the WJC. Followed it up with a silver medal this year and was toe to toe with Zegras for best player of the tournament.

He’s looked the part so far in his NHL Career.

He will be a high end 2C for a long time.

Then just sell. Even in this environment they will make a return on the investment.

Anyone remember how much they paid for them and what they might be worth now?

Edit: 2020 valuation...

28. Buffalo Sabres

• Value: $385 million

• One-Year Change: –4%

• Owners: Terrence and Kim Pegula

And you can say they got unlucky with the Sabres

No idea. The way I heard it was they were looking to sell but no mention of a specific buyer. I was just told that Harborcenter will be next and then the Sabres. I do trust the source as far as I can track it but it's very much hearsay and I'm several layers removed

What a joke of an owner. It’s embarrassing if this truly happens.

Yup pegula gave up on 716 already.

This is literally all Kim pegulas fault. She is literally the president of every single pegula owners entity.

The harbor center is great, have you ever played there?

It’s pretty outlandish to keep firing coaches and gms and keep bringing in people with no experience just so you can keep your arm up their arses.

Yup, played there plenty of times. The faculty actually had gone down hill fast. The locker rooms are a complete joke. The ice sucks

And no one in Buffalo has the money to buy it.

So $165 mill. With a current valuation of $385 mill... plus selling the new owner the harbor center could be a really nice return on their investment.

Someone call the Canadian grocery guy. Or Danny Weggman. Or he’ll, I’ll take Tommy G back at this point.
