If it ends up being a bad return,
you’ll hear me b!tch about it when it happens

I’m not gonna dwell in the negative till then though
It does no good

The premise of a trade is a losing proposition with the top-down "leadership" of this franchise. I would call your blind optimism of winning an Eichel trade borderline delusional at this point considering what we know about how this team operates

Fair enough 👍

Such a martyr. Repeating a lie is the problem. That and your tendency to come in hot and act like a jack-wad, when a logical, reasoned argument would serve you just as well.

You continue to spread a lie even when being explained you were fooled. The original story was already redacted and the NYT apologized for the misinformation. It would take you 30 seconds to look that up.

Yet here you are on post 7 still talking about it.

Serious question: why would you be hopeful about the Pegulas shopping a (when healthy) top-10 player in this league?

It absolutely would be a complete disaster. God knows what mega yacht full of crap they would accept.

- jcragcrumple

So, do the Sabres wait until the offseason to move Jack?

Unload every other asset at the deadline.
Add picks and prospects?

I completely agree, the Sabres will not get enough back for eichel. Hopefully we get someone else's top established young nhl player.

Hughes is scoring .235 goals a game vs .29 (Eichel age 19)
Hughes has .47 assists a game vs .39 (Eichel age 19)
Hughes is scoring at .705 points per game vs .691 (Eichel age 19)

This isn't to say that Hughes is better at that age, or that he will continue the pace Eichel took. My point is that he went number one for a reason and looks every part of it. Add another first overall in their newly named captain Hischier, and two firsts, one that will be really high that we know of this year, and again presumably the same next year, it really is prolly too much for Eichel. I would be extremely happy if it happened.

- SDSabre

If that was a return we should be racing to the phone to accept. We aren’t because that trade would never be offered by NJ

I want the Sabres to make smart decisions. The Pegulas in charge of trading Eichel is not that.

What you're advocating for is a very, very dumb idea considering who you are entrusting to make these decisions.

The best -best- case scenario is that the Sabres keep Eichel, because in no way do I trust Sabres management to get even approximate value back in a trade

What is Q? I don’t know one person in real like who even knows what that is. Seems like something liberals love to echo chamber though.

Again. You were fooled by CNN. The story you speak about was fake. Cop died of a medical issue.

There was someone who threw a fire extinguisher at a crowd of cops at one point, causing a minor injury. Was not Ofc. Sicknick. That guy is a thug and deserved to be arrested and charged with assault

I'm not liberal . Probably lean towards some Republican views for the most part. Not a fan of trump.

If they trade Eichel without changing ownership, I am 100% out on the franchise. The Pegulas will butcher any rebuild.

If you want to sell me on a rebuild, change ownership and nuke management from orbit.

Otherwise it's all pointless. We'll be back here in 5 years

I agree that the rioters committed criminal acts. I would strongly, STRONGLY advise you to not accept any of the groundwork being laid for the implementation of a domestically focused version of the Patriot Act. Which is precisely what is happening right now. Think about what that would look like, how it could be applied, and be smarter.

I responded to you, when you said the "terrorists " won in November .

Considering your support of the insurrection leader, seemed like a time to speak up.

Did you really feel confident in Hutton these past few games once ullmark went down to injury?

He played fine, but the players had to be expecting the same Hutton, that most people have been ready to move on from. (2+ years)

Like I said, beer league, sure, that mentality fits
NHL players collecting $M's ... it's fvcking bullpoop loser mentality
No excuses, they didn't score, not once.
Don't make two 0-3 losses about the goalies who stopped .923 and .924.
...it's friggin absurd.
