Risto will probably be traded.
The return will be greater than anyone other than eichel

More than :
Sam
Hall
Staal
And everyone/ everything else not glued down.

Eichel is still an issue, heartless effort.

Seriously, at this point, who tried harder this afternoon than risto? Who was harder to play against? Who showed up and added a physical presence?

- Boss34

This is all fine and good, but why do we care if he isn’t actually good? And what did all his effort and physicality accomplish?

I’d have absolutely no issue with him if he was playing 18-19 minutes a night

But the moment he’s back he’s playing 25 minutes and the team is terrible still and I’m just totally done with it.

100%.

Risto at least has a (frank)ing pulse. The rest of these losers can go (frank) off.

And how about that Captain Giveaway? I remember so many on here, 6 years ago, embracing loss after loss...

"No! We can't win anymore games! We have to finish dead last so we end up with a top 2 pick at least so we can get Jack!"

(frank)ing savior, my ass.

The season ends today for me. I'm on the trail again tomorrow. I'll post a picture or two from the Grand Canyon in about 50 days. I'll miss griefing with yall, but since my grief source will be gone....

Power, the only one that can talk about Asses is Ralph and that's in his 1on1 Synergy meetings.

I don’t know, after these two games it seems kinda obvious McCabe was carrying Risto’s passable play the first few weeks

Ristolainen is back to nonsensical passes and hitting himself out of position

- sbroads24

No no he will change. I promise. His 8th year and 4th coach will change him.

Maybe the boards are always f*cked because all Risto does is shout the puck off of them.

One of the longest tenured player and still we give him a pass.

In all the years I've listened to him, I've never heard Paul Hamilton sound so disgusted with a coach and team. The only person he hates more than the Sabre players is Ralph. And, rightfully so.

You don’t think Eichel gives effort?

Remember him exhausted the last five years after every game being the only reason we lost 4-2 instead of 4-0

The coach played Ristolainen 22 and 21 minutes the past 2 games after a publicized difficult battle with COVID, even after Ristolainen admitted after the game yesterday that he struggled in the 3rd due to his conditioning.

Yeah, I really don't get that. Does Ralph have a glue stick under that mask, cause he is lost.

Especially considering he’s requested to be traded multiple times in the last few seasons alone.

Because he can’t help himself. No coach can

Ristolainen is big, tough, physical and knows how to lose the right way

Can’t make any excuses for Eichel’s play this year and I think that says a lot about his character.

I don’t blame him for wanting out of here but you make $10M a year to play hockey at least go out giving all you have.

Literally everything Ralph does with the team screams "fire me" yet they won't fire him. If it's a money issue just promote someone from within the organization and don't hire anyone new. Just tell them to play a different type of hockey. It honestly shouldn't take Otto von Bismarck to figure that part out.

And, if Terry and Kim are that disconnected then they should sell the Sabres to someone who gives a damn.

I don’t really blame Risto for wanting out myself but he has never been really part of the solution here either, apart from the 7 games he and McCabe played together at the beginning of the year.

It really doesn’t matter how much $ you make if you’re miserable.

He has a 12-15 year window of playing professional hockey at the highest level and we’ve wasted half of it.

He’s done here.

It's a distinction without a difference, no? Do you really think this is suddenly a playoff team if he plays 19 minutes a night? If so I have a bridge to sell you.
