Personally I hope that the lightning win only for the sole reason that the Habs fan base will (frank)ing meltdown to the point where they raise holy hell about the blatant salary cap circumvention to the point where the league is no other position but to change it.

What? Coming into the series he has a .934 save percentage and 8 of their 12 wins have been 1 goal games. Another 2 have been 2 goal games. If they somehow pull this off, he 10000% deserves it.

.934 because they’ve let up very few high % chances. He’s been good no doubt but he hasn’t stolen a single game, they’ve just been better than the opponent. Hell, Vegas wouldn’t have gotten six games if their goalie hadn’t been better than Price in the wins.

I’m not knocking him, he’s a class act, great goalie, and has been good but hasn’t been called on to be spectacular. Game 1 was the first game they got crushed and lo and behold it’s a 5 spot. He did keep them in it for 2 periods.
