Even with Kassian being invisible the top line is still taking it to the competition. Drais line is still doing ok but not as good as the could. The bottom 6 are once again getting caved in by the competition. The D sucks. Period. And Koskinen is below average.

I think Draisaitl's line has probably been the best, but again, not performing nearly as well as they should be.

The bottom 6 is ass.

D has been terrible.

Koskinen... I'm not going to be that hard on. In the season opener, he really had no chance on 4 of the goals. Had a good second game, abysmal third game, and the last game he was solid. First goal was weak, but the loss was hardly his fault.

While Holland is at fault, you can't put all the blame on him. Players need to perform better too.

Toronto scoring on their own net aside, I must say he's been the most engaged Oilers player this season. Even being short, he's always going to get scrapy.

I'm not sure what is Tippet and what is the Oilers just playing with no confidence. They have no forcheck...one guys goes in and waves his stick and then turns and skates back giving the opposition free entrance out of their zone. In our own end we collapse so far in on our goalie that teams can tee off from the point. No one is pressuring the puck carrier. Very confused and concerned. Reminds me of the Penner days when they just didn't care.

My point here is not to troll. Your top two players are AMAZING. I would obviously take either one of them in a heartbeat. What I can't figure out is why your team can't put better pieces around MCD DRAI? Do you feel that there are things internally still holding you back? Drafting, Scouting, GM?

Holland don’t know how to build a blue line. Always puts too much confidence in aging poopty goalies. Too loyal to the contracts he gives out.
