For a team with McDavid, this team (frank)ing sucks offensively.

Weak goal allowed by Koskinen on the first, but great effort on the second.

The Edmonton Oilers are playing shinny hockey, pretty much none of them back check, I only see Larsson winning battles on the wall, and the centreman is last man back on most transitions.

I never thought I'd say this but this is now a coaching issue. Players not battling or backchecking is a motivational issue.

It's also the most frustrating hockey to watch when your own team doesnt give 2 sh1ts.

I could be done with these guys...this is one of the worst teams they've had.

Nope. He’s right. They stink. They’ve played as much as other teams that have started way better. This team will miss the playoffs at this rate.

At this rate, absolutely. However, the team had a large turnover during the off season and with no pre-season games, the chemistry won't be there just yet.

They're 1-3, wait till they're 1-5 before sounding the alarms.

Our past little arguments aside, I really don't see them coming out of this. This is a team with no motivation. Hard work beats skill 100% of the time and this team refuses to work hard for some reason. I actually have no answers/suggestions. Fire the 7th coach? Haha I think they're cooked.

Bright side is you get James Neal back soon and you only have to pay for Looch and Sekera for the next 2 years.

Technically the Habs did and they also made it further than them.

Next to Anderson and Toffoli, Montreal didn't actually have that much turnover.

The Oilers 3rd line is basically new, Kahun is new, Shore, etc.

Yeah Puljujarvi was here before, but he hasn't played in the NHL for over a year, Ennis barely played for the Oilers last season.

If I'm being honest with you, it looks like they have no heart, like they don't care. It's four games in so I don't think we panic, but it's not looking good.

They need to turn it around quickly.

They called back Rodrigue from the Austrian league. Also claimed a goalie on the waiver while a little while ago.
