He does look quicker this year. Really playing well, just need some goals to round it out

As someone who has travelled to Edmonton, that story checks out.

Get to work Pridham. A couple more waiver moves and we should be there. Thornton stays on the first line though.

Holl also has 4 points and is a plus 3... Awesome.
Moran Reilly has been searching for his game so far. Not sure if it was being paired with Bogo, but holy crap he has been out of position a lot.

he is a +3
at 5v5 +2, he was on the ice for ENG

I agree on Rielly, and its nothing new....he sucks in his own zone..big part of the Leafs problems

rielly is still better than brodie in his own zone.
can't believe dubas let go of barrie, only to bring in the exact same type of player (put pressure on brodie, and he'll get afraid to get hit, giving up the puck)

I dont agree on either point.

We have watched Rielly for years. Doesnt matter what partner he has.

I think we will see (or not see) that brodie does a lot more of the quiet things that fans over look that help in their own end.

I will give it 20 or 30 games of watching Brodie before I come to any conclusions

Was hoping someone would confirm for me what I was seeing. He's been really good so far. Playing big minutes ...the toughest minutes ...and coming out on top.

So far so good.

Somebody post some numbers on Brodie's last two games. My vision tells me he seems to be finding his game as well.

I thought Rielly played his first pretty good game last night. But big picture ...if Rielly loses time on the PP over the next year or two he suddenly becomes a very questionable re-signing.

I thought he looked lost in his first game, had a bad game in the second one against the Sens, but looked better last game.

He played well last night I thought.

He plays with the top 6 for the most part, which helps a bit I’m sure.

People here thought 72 point Rielly was going to be his new normal. It is more likely that may be the peak of his production.

Still a great player. He is what he is.

It is tough to judge new players on 4 games with no real practice or pre season or regular routine.

Ya, first two games were pretty shaky for most leafs ..especially the new guys.

Last two for Brodie have looked as expected - pretty good. Great first pass, solid on his skates and positioning but a little light in his own zone and in front of the net.

I'm optimistic he's a better addition then Ceci and Barrie. So far....

Think of the first 5 games as pre-season. Not going to bad at all. If they could get a friggin bounce...
