I used to play in a regular pickup game where one of the goalies would break in Potvin’s gear. It was fun to shoot on a guy who looked exactly like him: pads, gloves, pants, helmet and jersey.

That’s awesome. I have a buddy who has several sets of tribute gear and that’s how he got me hooked. I have this one and a Grant Fuhr but he has an amazing Potvin set that looks 1000% like the real deal. He has a Belfour Chicago Brian’s / Brown set, Cujo Heaton St Louis, Cujo Edmonton Blue TPS, a Kirk McLean Vaughan Canucks, Kipper Vaughan Flames and a Ranford Vaughan Oilers. He has the real deal pants, masks with the same paint done by the painter who did the pros, pro jerseys and even matching sticks. It’s insane and I’m so god dammed jealous of his collection. Lol

Lol the boys call it the 15 hole. :-)

I do actually get asked if a lot in the rink, on Facebook groups etc. Kenesky does an amazing job on the gear and all the small details like fake toe buckles etc. but you really need a great vinyl / graphics or heat transfer guy to make it look real. I’m lucky to have a hook up and I know it.

Freddy and Marner were good.
Leafs owned the Jets in the 2nd - all the scoring (except the empty netter) in the 2nd. Leafs outshot the Jets 22-6. Hellybuck stood on his head.

It’s 100% a Fuhr tribute set. One of his D&R sets. My tournament team wears Oilers looking jerseys so I thought why not.

I have a Fuhr stick from his conditioning stint for the AHL Cape Breton Oilers after he was caught illegally skiing. It was around 1990. He was big news in our smallish town.
