Yes.
But as well, take it one shift at a time... - MaximusAurelius
Not sure if I like Marner on that line. He seemed to do better with JT.

I remember thinking last night that Freddie was flailing a lot and doesn’t seem to have a good grasp on where the net is behind him. He needs to shake that rust off and do it quickly. Can’t have a struggling goalie while having new lines trying to gel at the same time... that’s just begging for losses - Dozzer
This is what he looks like all the when he is going bad. When he is good, he is calm, square to the shooter and the puck hits him a lot. |

I said the same, it’s his hair. He should be wearing a hair net that would help. - Garnie
He’s skating slower, so he can watch his reflection in the glass and see that hair flow. |

tough night for Brodie last night but I'll defend him tonight (so far).
His stretch pass to Marner was a beauty and made that goal.
And on the Sens goal he had his guy boxed out mid-slot and had a stick on him. It's what you'd ask him to do. The shot from the point came through two Leaf forwards who skated past the shot lane rather than block the shot ...the shot fumbles through and bounces right onto Paul's stick. Nothing much more that Brodie could've done. |

The NHL used to allow a blatant trip when a defending player dove and and tipped an opponent as long as they first made contact with the puck. Not any more. The NHL adopts the approach already used by USA Hockey, where tripping may be called regardless of whether the first point of contact was the puck. |

If there was a Venn diagram with Freddie apologists representing one circle and Dubas/Keefe haters in the other circle you would end up with a single circle. - mjones242

If Keefe doesn't work out this year I would sign Torts in a heartbeat. His contract is up this season and I think he's the type of guy you bring in who can light a fire under some asses and is also a pretty sound coach.
Torts' act does wear out after a time, but this team needs to get to the next level where no one gets a shift off. Ever. |

Um no. He's Brodie's guy. Any coach would be furious that Paul was able to even get his stick on that puck. |
