Was an AMAZING performance by the AUT goalie (not even gonna try to not dork his name, he deserves that level of respect...). This kid....just WOW. Will be interesting to see how he develops. Askarov looked good in the 2 games I watched, despite the 2-0 defeat....we'll see more of him SOON.

Our guys look incredible. Lots of room for growth, of course. Don't see any of them in the LCA this year, or even next. But when they hit, it will be beautiful. Sods is just a beast. I posted a bit on the blog yesterday, will sum it up: Craig Buttons (I believe it was him) made reference to Homer when speaking of Sods, to which I took offence. Not that the comparison was made, rather that it postulated that "If you ask him (Homer, sic), he'd say it was worth it" (the beatings he took net-front and resulting medical issues. I wholly disagree. Home is in tough shape, and this is coming form a guy who had more concussions that ginger-ales consumed; If I could go back in time....

Raymond scared the bejeebus outta me when he went down; couldn't tell if was a knee or head. Seeing him come back with such ferocity was refreshing. I see him in the LCA 21-22, along w/Seids + others. IF Sweden is any indication of what's out there in the European leagues, the pain and suffering we've gone through might be worth it. I see a great set of players roaming Hockeytown and teams finally dealing with the tenacity and grit that the Wings have been known for. Some REAL beasts out there for us...Now, if we can get our hands on the Wranesh...Manesh...THAT AUT KID in net, we'll be doing very well!!

Waiting to see more games, wife's mad, weather's good in SC, and I'm paying FULL PRICE for Center Ice?!?!?!?! Meh, watching the WIngs will be worth it!!

Yeah, but he was 10' tall yesterday. That game should've been a MASSIVE blow-out. He faced ~60 shots and SWE didn't get close to double-digits. Heck, he could be from Munchkin Land and I'd be watching his progress, curious to see how he fares over the next year; kid could be gold.

I vaguely recall getting KTFO playing rugby in Breckenridge some years ago...vaguely. Head down trying to run over a back (normally smaller, very quick, glory guys...) when outta nowhere this big ole forward destroyed my life; blind-sided head-to-head and I went down like a...well, you get the idea. Point is, when I saw Raymond take that hit from behind, all I could see was stars from my hit....made me wanna 🤮🤮. Kid’s got guts, lemme tell ya. I’m REALLY looking forward to a team w/Raymond, Veleno, Zadina, Seider, Soderblom, Hronek, LARMANZI...this is REALLY gonna be an awesome team!!!

No worries. Most TV providers are like a completely dysfunctional relationship. You have to threaten to leave for them to act right. With Raymond, I rewatched the hit, he’d tried a “reverse hit” and missed the other guy completely. Went headfirst into those boards. So nasty. Hopefully he’ll do some of those drills that teach you to gap up at the glass (Kopitar and Datsyuk were amazing at that). So dangerous

Sorry about that nasty hit you took brother. My head issues are from taking a beating playing roller hockey. Just awful. Makes me wince to see anyone get popped. Scary stuff

I was just looking at this! Well done G. I would like to see if we could get this kid. Chevy doesn’t like to be pushed around by players/agents (Laine, Trouba). Unless he can get a really good return he’ll be happy to let the kid sit. We have 3 second round picks this year, I’d be fine letting one of those go.

I would think Winny would want a C to replace him. Hmmmm, Probably Glendening and a 3rd. Fabri would be over payment..... But if Roslivic comes with a 4th, Fabri would probably satisfy Winny.
I would prefer sacrificing Glenny though.

You’d have to pre negotiate a deal, I have no idea what this kid is asking for. Yeah, we’ll see what the ask becomes. Chicago may need a center, TB definitely wants to ship TJ out. Who’s going to put up the best deal at this point.
