we'll be seeing less and less of that, and I understand why fights are slowly disappearing from hockey, but at the same time I must admit that kind of poop is pretty entertaining to watch

I agree with everything you said. Blood lust is a real and natural reaction. Humans are weird but it's hard to deny it.

It's also why guys like Anderson are so valuable in today's game because they can play quality shifts while bringing intimidation and being able to back it up

most definitely. the ones claiming that it's unnecessary violence are often the same ones who'll get up and cheer when there's a fight during a game.


and yeah, can't wait to see Anderson and all the other new guys play and see what they can bring... talks between players and owners seem to be at a complete stall, so that's pretty depressing, but I'm praying for a surprise announcement very soon confirming that the season will start sometime in January.
