SBC is decidedly not Kazakhstani nor is he a gay man. The pitchforks have yet to seek him out, somehow. I expect people identify him as progressive and stridently anti-conservative, so he gets a pass (for now).

In 2020, you can't get away with these types of satirical tropes and it's becoming increasingly intolerable for actors to portray something they are not.

On the one hand, I felt that the punishment did not fit the crime.

But I used to love Don Cherry, so I was glad they plucked him off the air before he did something to really, really, really destroy his reputation and legacy.

I dont think so, maybe some would but not as bad as you may think.
I mean actors still portray racist characters, pedophiles, rapist etc. The N word is still said in many movies. This still goes on, no one says boo.
Problem is everybody and their mom want equality for everything....which is great.
But then people take it too far. Gotta have a transgender actor portray a transgender character....grrr give the transgender actor roles as well. Gotta have autistic actors portray autistic characters, give them roles as well. Which again is fine, but those same people who freak out about the above would also freak out if Hollywood only gave racist, nazi or sexual abusive actors the racist, nazi, sexually abusive roles.

I think you're underestimating how stupid people are and how much they look for things to be offended about.

Hell, people have had to quit doing voice acting for characters if they're not the same skin colour or gender. It's dumb.

Check the exterior windshield.

I knew someone that lost there fob for a year. Cleaned out the car completely and the car would always start. Found it beside the wipers.
