I remember him like it was yesterday. Purple spandex stirrup pants (like chicks used to wear in the 80’s, elastic at the bottom to keep them from riding up) and a white t-shirt that said “(frank) dancing let’s (frank)”

Saw them one other time at BC place. Had tickets to the show they cancelled last minute and went to the re-scheduled show. Sound in BC place sucks.

The Cult that first night was so cool, great energy and I loved their stuff. It was the Electric tour. The band ended up getting hauled away by Vancouver PD for inciting a riot. They encouraged fans to rush the stage near the end of the show.

My only experience with the Cult live was again in the late 80's opening for Metallica on the AJFA tour. The Cult were booed off the stage even though they were solid live. At the time it wasn't a good match on the bill musically mating the Cult with Metallica fans lol. The Metallica fans weren't happy with 'radio rock' and they let them know it. Hetfield came on and told the crowd to grow the f*uck up and things seemed better after lol

For those who were involved in that UFO discussion, Fox News just posted a very “credible” story on the matter.

Geez, if Fox News is reporting evidence of alien visitation it must be true. Egg on my face!

I always wanted to a be an F1 driver.

They can make the cars and everything as safe as possible but they are doing something dangerous.

Things will happen.

first of all masks do work. i know your medical expertise gained from your doctorate in youtube might say differently but medical experts disagree.
https://www.ucsf.edu/news...nd-how-face-masks-prevent
https://www.cdc.gov/coron...ng-science-sars-cov2.html
https://www.mayoclinic.or...navirus-mask/art-20485449

secondly, i love your logic that since the virus is still spreading that means that masks don't work ergo we shouldn't have to wear them etc. the logic basically means that unless something is 100% effective, we shouldn't advocate or mandate it. where else should we do that? hey, jail/punishment hasn't eliminated crime so i guess that means that it's ineffective and we don't really need it? it's just a limitation on our personal freedom right?

finally, i'll address your legislation point namely that these restrictions have been put in without legislation. that pretty much says everything we need to know about you.

you'll only sacrifice if it is legislated. here's a clue for you: that wouldn't be sacrifice; that would be obeying the law. put another way, the soldiers that you purportedly support by and large were not conscripted/drafted, they voluntarily sacrificed for their community.

the fact that wearing a mask is a bridge too far for your personal freedom says a lot about the personal sacrifice you will willingly make to help others.

can't even make this sh!t up!

it definitely is fun. i don't get to meet people like you in the wild and have meaningful interactions so i find the exchanges hilarious.

that goes for some of the other posters on here too. it's interesting interacting with "types of people," you only see on tv/social media. granted this is still cyberworld, it's cool interacting with people unlike ourselves (even if it entails ridiculing them.)

I was one of about eight females in the crowd at the Vancouver stop on that tour. Was thrilled to see both bands.

My guy friends that I was supposed to be going with didn't want to see the Cult, though, so I went early with plans to meet them there. But, being the pre cell-phone years, we never did find each other.

I was up pretty close on the floor (general admission) until a huge fight broke out in between bands. I skirted along the edge of the circle that opened up to let the combatants have their space, so I ended up a bit farther back. But I was still an exhausted, sweaty mess by the time the show was over.

I was supposed to go to the club afterwards, but decided to go home to change first. Sat down on my bed and instantly fell asleep; didn't wake up till morning.

Hadn't thought about that in awhile!

I've never seen that kind of straight forward speed from him for comparison's sake.

For me he's kind of a classic Czech player. Strong on the puck and in board battles and very defensively aware.

Might have a shot somewhere in the bottom 6. Don't know if he has the offence to be a spare top 6 player for a ceiling.

I kind of feel similarly. Most people I interact with on a daily basis are fairly reasonable and follow basic logic. Every now and then I dip a toe in the internet to witness a little crazy

Correct. Not in equal proportions though.
