Oh yeah that's today.

I haven't seen videos of idiots cramming themselves into a store yet

- stinger67

we think the bar/restaurant we usually went to today is closed for good. there's been a sign on the door that says "closed due to coronavirus" since march.

here the bars and restaurants will obviously remain closed for the holidays, but what's absurd is that the safety measures will most probably be less respected during family gatherings than they actually would be in a public restaurant

Drouin trade was a loss. Drouin could figure it out and make it less of a loss or closer, but there's no debate it's a loss. It greatly helped Tampa win a Cup. I can't see anybody suggesting the Habs wouldn't be better today with Sergachev instead of Drouin. Sometimes you just gotta eat the L and hope your side can make the most of what they got out of it
- Takemedrunkimhome

Oh so Drouin scoring 70 points next season while Sergachev struggles when not being sheltered by Tampa next season wouldn't change your mind?

As I said, at this point Tampa has the upper hand, but a trade should be judged when all is said and done.

we wouldn't have gone this year anyway but we were hoping it'd be there for us to go back to next year.

not to mention the food was good and it's literally 3 minutes from my front door.

it's true what you said about the family gatherings. i guess there'll probably be a spike now.

they're asking people to isolate themselves as much as possible before and after the gatherings, and to wear masks during, but we all know there's a whole bunch of people who won't be giving a (frank), especially after a few drinks.

everything is technically staying closed until January 11th, but it's obvious it's gonna stay closed way passed that...

it's a bad trade as of today, and it will only get worst imo. sergachev will get better, become a stud. drouin... well. he is what he is.
can't win them all.

it's delivered at your door? that's cool, here you can order from the SAQ but you still have to go pick it up at the post-office, which kinda defeats the purpose of having something delivered

no, no

It's just when the 2nd lockdown started they said it would last 28 days.

I don't see much change for january 11th.

A lot of small businessses will go bankrupt.

If Scott Gomez comes out of retirement and racks up 130 points will we revisit his trade and call it a win? Those are massive ifs and those ifs won't change the Cup win in Tampa

do you think the chances of Drouin improving his game are equal to Gomez coming out of retirement and racking up 130 points..? damn, we're doomed
